Not my fault no one posted a description of Lyreth I could find.
Viravain2006-08-17 22:34:27
Lyreth actually changes his colour scheme often. He's a veritable rainbow.

Well, I met him briefly. He seems rather menacing , but at least not as dangerous as a souless god.
Things will be pretty interesting in the basin.

He stillll needs a helpfile. :grumble:

Maybe, y'know, the plot is not yet over, and more stuff will happen before he's given a status quo?

My character has never been as intimidated as when he met Morgfyre.
Veonira2006-08-18 03:13:03
I think one of the coolest things is how his voice changes when he talks. It was pretty funny imagining him say "Indeed" in a panicked scream
Unknown2006-08-18 03:23:50
I want his history!!!
I can imagine him being a Shikari or Clangorum like elder that was used for Fain's experiments. I believe that Fain wanted to turn him into a Soulless like creature by extracting some of Morgfyre's soul and then he would consume the essence of other divines... Then he kinda outgrew when he started to eat Half-formed, other Elders and perhaps a small Soulless or two...
MORE HISTORIES PLZ KKTHX

Um.. no. Not really a good point at all. A Soulless would have done the same thing. Does that mean it would be ok to snuggle said Soulless?
I mean its like those fights that goes "My morality states its bad, but I'm glad that it happened because I currently hate them" Seems a logical feeling if his character is in Serenwilde currently having at war with Celest. Its like "I dont like Soulless beings appearing in the basin, but one is here now. Oh well, at least it took down an enemy god." That sort of thing.
Noola2006-08-18 04:33:41
Sort of 'the enemy of my enemy is my friend' sorta thing huh?

No not necessarily "my friend", but the person talking is just glad that at least it happened in a way that would cripple his opponent. Sort of "I dont really like whats happening, but -at least- it happened the way that would benefit me in a way" mentality. I dont know whats the term for this in psychology.

The fact remains that he may have eaten your enemy first, but he still plans to eat you too, once the timer goes off and you've been properly seasoned.
Its like.. a cook pulls one lobster out of the tank to cook, thus ridding another lobster of his rival. Should that second lobster really be singing odes to the chef, knowing that its just a matter of time before his time is next? Nooot really.
Realistically, its more like "Wow.. he was able to fight off Hajamin, Terentia, and Fain all at once in the Void, and nearly killed Terentia, and did indeed kill Hajamin. He also nearly killed Lyreth pretty easily. Damn.. he's one dangerous sob...and he's going to look my way sooner or later... maybe it would be a good idea to start working against him now rather than after he's picking his teeth with Charune's antlers.

Of course that would be the logical course of action. But you cant blame him for feeling that way for something that beat his opponents at -that- point in time. Its only natural. Sure we would have to fight that soulless sooner or later. But at the present moment Then fight back or runaway like crazy afterwards.

Oi,
Jigan did indeed ask some questions and made some stupid comments. It's Jigan, he does that.
Morgfyre: Thanks for answering them, thanks for not killing Jigan when most gods would have had the heads up and blasted him as soon as he entered. Forgive me, I know I'm going to mangle your name on occasion.
And, thanks for giving Jigan a glimmer of hope
And a bit of fame. Check events boards and you will see that your name is amoung really big names there.
And i missed almoust whole event
When i loged in it was already after "the kiss" and after Hajamin told me and Shamarah that he have to protect the Eye for all cost i had to go to sleep.

I can't seem to find my name anywhere, Ekard. Maybe confusion?

Hmm.
I would swear that they mentioned you in last Event post. Or maybe it was some other Paladin?
Jigan2006-08-18 08:43:38
They Mentioned Squire Dayan.
He was the first to make doubt known.
