So...Morgfyre is a huge heartless that you have to kill at the begining of the game? I can concur with that..
Yep. Darkside was the first thing that came to my head when I saw Morgfyre.

For some reason, that's how Morgfyre looks to me. At least that's how I imagined him.
strange... this is how I imagined him

I didn't at first, but now I can see it. Especially with how he ingests people.

SERENWILDE NEWS #1850
Date: 8/19/2006 at 8:19
From: Regent Nejii Talnara, Moon's Fire
To : Everyone
Subj: Morgfyre
Greets, Seren.
Though I am uncertain as to whether Lord Morgfyre's order has been
opened yet, the Moonhart Circle is pre-empting the issue by banning
entry to His order for any Seren along with those of Fain, Raezon and
others, though given His stated goal of consuming the Elders and just
about everyone else this should not surprise nor offend anybody.

QUOTE
He is a feathered trill and is approximately 6 feet in height. His silver wings glow in the moonlight and every feather is tipped in vibrant, flaming blue. They rarely fold but instead hang out behind him. In the small of his back, between the bottoms of his wings, is a small patch of skin covered in onyx green scales. The silvery down that covers the top of his head melts into a sprawl of full feathers that reaches down to his shoulders. Feathers have grown down his forearms to the knuckles on his hands, giving the illusion of soft silver bracers on his arms. His smooth copper skin, devoid of any hair, covers his toned muscular frame. His chest bears a mark, a circle circled in vines and a crest of moon surrounded by flames that swirl and form an ancient unknown script. His eyes are deep and greener than emeralds with thin, vertical pupils. He is wearing a mottled green leather scabbard, an iron-studded scabbard, a sapphire stud through his right ear, an opal feather pendant, a delicate turquoise leaf pendant, a black leather loincloth, and a wide-banded soul mate ring. He walks with the favour of Morgfyre.
Well aren't I off to a good start...
Nice conversation though .

No one bothers looking at you, don't worry. I had the favour of Shikari for a while, no one cared.
Everiine2006-08-20 03:41:36
Hehe, I know. It surprised me actually, I've never gotten a favour for impressing a Divine with something. Flacarealah I think though thinks I'm becoming a traitor, but that's something else to deal with
EDIT: And of -course- no one looks at Everiine, if they did, they'd know he was a man!

Gods are special, and nice if you dont annoy Them. I guess its okay for someone to think someone a traitor over a favour, but sometimes the favour can come from different things than loyalty to said God.

Morgfyre's true form now lies
slumbering far beneath the surface of the First World, appearing before
mortals in the form of an illusory avatar.
I hate it when help files contradict what I was told ingame.

I got favoured for being the only Seren at a meeting with Shikari who was actually polite. It IS possible to disagree with someone and not at all like them, and still be nice. I do it to Nessa all the time.
Asarnil2006-08-22 05:31:22
Something was nagging at me about Morgfyre appearing and I finally realised what it was. They ripped off Men In Black! Just instead of a giant cockroach wearing an Edgar suit, we had Morgfyre wearing a Hajamin suit...
Callus2006-08-22 07:40:18
Rofl!! XD Nice one.
I actually didn't imagine Morgfyre as Darkside. :S I imagined him as a freaky, inverted snake-thingy with a plethora of devilish wings, hands and legs...

After thinking about I kind of think of Morgfyre as Noah from Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne or Katagusi.
Hazar2006-08-22 14:25:37
Morgfyre is obviously...nevermind, this is getting out of hand.
I'm now making pools on how long our new Elders will last.

Do not fear. You have to have a SEVERE level of either mental illness or insanity to work for Lusternia. Fortunately, Morgfyre and I have both.

Lies! Don't listen to a thing he says!

since I'm banned from Lusternia for a week or so, could you give me a somewhat IC reason for the F***ING OUROBOROS!!!
Hazar2006-08-22 21:25:51
What's wrong with an ouroboros? I rather like the wee beastie.

Because Morgfyre is ICly all about consumption, and the lack of permanence? Whatever is useful should be used, with a lack of care about the little details such as loyalty? Can view the serpent as the elder gods as a whole, and despite the fact that they should all be opposed to Kethuru, he's still willing to destroy his brethren (and thus weaken the defences overall) for his own personal gain?
