Terentia called it a Herald of Magnora, so the chances are that it is a Soulless. Obviously a very weak Soulless, seeing as how it was so easily beaten back, and the fact that it would call an Elder God 'master'.

That proves nothing. The Elders can't even agree on if the Taint is bad, or if the Wyrd is the Taint. Terentia very likely could have simply assumed.
