Ah man I missed the rest of it. I was here for the first part of it
Estarra2006-08-17 15:37:27
I'm sure I posted the music video before, but if you haven't seen it: DARE TO VIEW!
(Yes, I actually purchased the whole album. )
Morgfyre's Entrance
Look to the sky, way up on high
There in the night stars are now right.
Eons have passed: now then at last
Prison walls break, Old Ones awake!
They will return: mankind will learn
New kinds of fear when they are here.
They will reclaim all in their name;
Hopes turn to black when they come back.
Ignorant fools, mankind now rules
Where they ruled then: it's theirs again
Stars brightly burning, boiling and churning
Bode a returning season of doom
Scary scary scary scary solstice
Very very very scary solstice
Up from the sea, from underground
Down from the sky, they're all around
They will return: mankind will learn
New kinds of fear when they are here
Look to the sky, way up on high
There in the night stars are now right.
Eons have passed: now then at last
Prison walls break, Old Ones awake!
Madness will reign, terror and pain
Woes without end where they extend.
Ignorant fools, mankind now rules
Where they ruled then: it's theirs again
Stars brightly burning, boiling and churning
Bode a returning season of doom
Scary scary scary scary solstice

Celest OST?

Even though I lost 58% of 73 to people springing the damn trap, this was an awesome event. I loved the suspense leading up to the race for the Eye, and everyone running around trying to get it first. Much more fun than anything similar basin-wide, because then it loses the tension created by the small area; it's hard to hurry and find something when you have to search the entire basin for things. The trap was a nice touch, even though it did suck to burn through power and experience.

Much fun event, much. Greatest event since Kethuru!

There was actually an easy way to avoid getting killed by the trap, though I guess it would have taken a bit of experimentation to figure it out. As a general rule, we won't build death traps that have no solution!
Hrm, I guess you really didn't want to hear that now... forget I said anything...
Diamondais2006-08-17 16:51:45
Im kinda curious on what that would be..

The golden button that killed Veo, someone else and me....

Hold Breath?
Veonira2006-08-17 17:17:07
Well, the crappy thing was the first time I was barely paying attention to the obvious fumes filling the chamber, and the second time I missed the person grabbing the eye! Doh!

Is that what the wheels and gears and stuff were for?
Unknown2006-08-17 18:14:48
Isn't this somehow related to Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets? After all I can imagine Voldemort as Fain and that giant snake as Hajamin/Morgfyre

No. Terentia chased Hajamin away before He could completely consume Him.
Tekora2006-08-17 19:28:11
No, Lyreth didn't die. In fact, a few days after the event, a bunch of us got together for a little shindig. We had cookies. Lots and lots of cookies.
Sylphas2006-08-17 19:53:58
I'd guess Hold Breath, which I don't have. And it can catch you by surprise when someone's acquisitio tried to grab it and the gas comes pouring in.
