Sharing an private event (Whisp)

About this time ago, Lacostian started working on bringing back Isune... Most of you remember the Whisp event. I'm really missing Isune right now, so in her memory I wanted to share a private log. I only shared this with Soll at the time, but I don't consider this anything majorly secret, so it was just some time with Whisp shortly after Viravain had confronted her (and after I had been rightfully muted by backtalking to Viravain).

I really miss Isune right now...I had such a good relationship with her, spending time with her when nobody else would hang at her Fulcrux. If the god never comes back I really will always remember the time I spent with her, and the player had a great way of establishing empathy.

QUOTE

You say to Volucer, "Do ye know where we could find Whisp?"

Nucoras ponders the situation.

You say to Volucer, "Or commune with her? She seemed to hate crowds."

Lord Nucoras Mibri, Lost Oracle of Isune says, "I haven't heard of Whisp
talking to any novices lately."

Volucer blinks once at Tully, then folds one of his wings against his side,
spreading the other out in an all-encompassing gesture. A moment later, he
brings both wings up in an awkward shrugging motion again.

You say to Nucoras, "If de boyo knows, we might have to play 20 questions with
de boyos."

You put your hands on your hips and go "Hmmm!"

You say, "Guess ye don't know."

Nucoras chuckles long and heartily.

You say to Volucer, "Even Silent ye are much better dan Icelus who just licks
himself."

Nucoras utters a deep, rumbling laugh.

Lord Nucoras Mibri, Lost Oracle of Isune says, "Agreed."

You say to Nucoras, "Has Whisp ever been encountered off the prime plane?"

A golden retriever rushes in quickly, circling Nucoras briefly before settling
at his side.

Nucoras shakes his head.

Lord Nucoras Mibri, Lost Oracle of Isune says, "Not that I know of."

You put your hands on your hips and go "Hmmm!"

Lord Nucoras Mibri, Lost Oracle of Isune says, "My best guess would be to try
the Seal."

Nucoras shrugs helplessly.

You put your hands on your hips and go "Hmmm!"

Volucer stares off into the distance, his sharp eyes momentarily refocusing,
before he clicks his beak and bobs his head slightly.

You say, "Ah."

Lord Nucoras Mibri, Lost Oracle of Isune says, "There have been no reports of
Whisp anywhere since the conversation there."

Lord Nucoras Mibri, Lost Oracle of Isune says, "But, given what happened, She
may be hiding."

You say, "I'll take a quick walk over there and try something."

The Path of Dreams. (road).

This location is flooded with shallow, crystal clear water. Filling the
firmament is a lattice of heavy grey clouds. The road is a treacherous morass
of loose rocks, sometimes disappearing into the granite cliffs of the mountain.
Breathing is a challenge in the cold, thin air. Fortunately, the howling winds
from the surrounding mountain range do not often reach up to this height. So
high up is this point that the land below is but a blur of colours.
You see exits leading northeast, west, and in.

The Cave of Beauty.
The shadowy outline of a twisted forest casts a dark gloom here. This Cave
smells quite a bit like someone got a little excited while spraying perfume and
so much ended up in the room that it is more than enough to the sting eyes. The
situation is not at all helped by the potpourri that has been scattered all
throughout the room, which now lies clumped in piles in the extremities.
Although the resulting aroma borders on overpowering, the effect is quite
delightful as long as it is not experienced for long. The Seal of Beauty slowly
spins in the air here, humming with latent power. A hollowed disk of smoky
quartz floats here, spinning in mid air.
You see a single exit leading out.

You drop 12 powerstones.

You have recovered balance on all limbs.

You have emoted: Tully arranges the powerstones into a protective circle.

You have emoted: Tully gets out a piece of goal and invokes an astrological
magic circle.

Pressing your hands together before you, you concentrate on your throat chakra.
A blue glow suffuses your throat, protecting all your communications.

You have emoted: Tully stands in the center of the circle.

You say, "Whisp?"

Spreading your arms wide, you spin clockwise and visualize a circle of
protection. A shimmering white orb springs up around you.

Pressing your hands together before you, you concentrate on your root chakra. A
red glow runs down your spine, helping anchor you to the earth.

Faint motes of light spark to life along the edge of the disk and dance across
its surface before fading back out of existance.

Nucoras arrives from the out.
An uneven portal rips open the air and a falcon of massive proportions flutters
through on unreliable wings before the rift snaps shut once more.
Strutting in from the out, a golden retriever comes into view.

You have emoted: Tully points at an astrological circle.

Nucoras blinks.

You say, "I'm trying to see if creating one of these circles with me
powerstones might help with concentration."

Nucoras nods his head emphatically.

You have emoted: Tully meditates slightly, feeling if there is a presence here.

You say, "Whisp?"

You say, "Boyo, if ye are here, please come before me. There is no crowd here.
I have protected myself from eavesdropping. We'd like to speak to ye."

You say, "Nobody will hurt ye."

You have emoted: Tully leaves the circle.

You say, "Follow de attaction and appear within de circle of powerstones."

Pressing your hands together before you, you concentrate on your third eye
chakra. An indigo glow suffuses your forehead and reveals that which is hidden
from sight.

You take a drink from a turquoise vial.
Your mind feels stronger and more alert.

You may drink another health, mana, or bromide potion.

Nucoras ponders the situation.

Volucer peers at a hollowed disk of smoky quartz unscrupulously.

You say, "Is dere anything that might attract Whisp?"

Lord Nucoras Mibri, Lost Oracle of Isune says, "Hmm."

You say, "She seems attacted to the innocent and novices?"

Lord Nucoras Mibri, Lost Oracle of Isune says, "If it is someform of Isune, I
would assume something shiny."

Volucer preens through the feathers on one wing, carefully attending to them.

You say, "Well, does powerstones are pretty shiny."

Nucoras ponders the situation.

You say, "Let me try something."

Volucer picks one loose feather off his upper wing, tossing it into the circle.

Nucoras nods his head emphatically.

Nucoras grins mischievously at Volucer.

You have emoted: Tully enters the circle.

You have recovered balance on all limbs.

With a flourish, you draw an ornate platinum longsword from a shining silver
scabbard.

You say, "Platinum is pretty shiny."

You have emoted: Tully waves the sword back and forth, like a flag bearer.

You say, "Whisp?"

Nucoras sits down.

You say, "Does Whisp like music?"

Nucoras ponders the situation.

Lord Nucoras Mibri, Lost Oracle of Isune says, "It hasn't been tried."

You put your hands on your hips and go "Hmmm!"

Surging emotions cross your mind in one incoherent wave as the Seal of Beauty's
aura pulses stronger. Fear, then loneliness, then a mounting sense of hope and
other such sensations that are forced upon you, before they inexplicably fade
away.

Volucer blinks.

Volucer shivers violently.

Nucoras pets Volucer ingratiatingly.

You give the Seal of Beauty a compassionate hug.

You say, "Come to us Whisp."

You give the Seal of Beauty a compassionate hug.

There are 12 glowing powerstones here.
An enormous falcon nervously talons the ground, wings mantling. A golden
retriever is here, panting quietly to himself. Lord Nucoras Mibri, Lost Oracle
of Isune is here, sprawled on the floor. He wields a tae'dae bearclaw flail in
his right hand.

You say, "Let me think."

Lord Nucoras Mibri, Lost Oracle of Isune throws a diamond into the circle of
powerstones.

Nucoras drops a diamond vial.

Nucoras picks up a diamond vial.

Nucoras coughs softly.

Nucoras drops a diamond.

Nucoras nods his head emphatically.

You say to Volucer, "Can ye squak?"

Nucoras ponders the situation.

You say, "I know ye can't speak common or nothin', but maybe a simple primal
release might be helpful."

Volucer ponderously picks himself up and flutters his wings, taking a breath,
and lets out one mighty... hissy noise.

You say, "Not much difference between dat and a fart."

You shrug helplessly.

Volucer glares angrily at you.

Nucoras chuckles long and heartily.

You say to Volucer, "Sorry, just releaving de tension."

Volucer clips his beak together twice, making faint clicking sounds.

Lord Nucoras Mibri, Lost Oracle of Isune says to you, "He's said much worse at
times."

Volucer nods his head sagely.

You say, "What about rituals?"

Nucoras shakes his head.

Lord Nucoras Mibri, Lost Oracle of Isune says, "I'm a hunter."

You say, "Not does rituals."

Nucoras pats a golden retriever in a friendly manner.

You say, "Something more ritualistic."

You say, "Wait a second..."

Nucoras ponders the situation.

Nucoras raises an eyebrow questioningly.

You say, "Hasn't Whisp been attracted to people who are lonely and dejected?"

Lord Nucoras Mibri, Lost Oracle of Isune says, "Aye.."

You say, "Okay, everybody think sad thoughts. Think of loneliness, dispair, and
bad memories."

Lord Nucoras Mibri, Lost Oracle of Isune murmurs, "Simple enough."

Volucer gives a pained sigh.

You begin to weep uncontrollably.

You give a pained sigh.

You have emoted: Tully looks depressed.

You say, "I miss me old family..."

You say, "I miss the old days of sparkleberry pies and walkin' thru me
childhood woods."

Lord Nucoras Mibri, Lost Oracle of Isune becomes slightly livid and haggard,
his gaze unfocusing as he stares off.

Tears fill your eyes and begin to slowly run down your face.

You slump down dejectedly.

You wince in pain.

A colourful burst of sparks rains from the center of the hollowed disk of smoky
quartz, its revolutions slowing almost to a halt.

You say, "I miss the old days I can barely remember."

You say, "What do ye boyos miss?"

You say, "I sometimes feel de Serens don't understand me..."

You crease your brow in a frown.

You say, "I sometimes feel I can never get my city clean..."

Volucer makes a vague gesture at the Seal of Beauty with his beak, eyes
unfocused.

You give the Seal of Beauty a compassionate hug.

You collapse into the Seal of Beauty's arms and begin to cry.

Dripping water echoes in the distance.

Lord Nucoras Mibri, Lost Oracle of Isune nods slightly at the Bird, his voice
somewhat distant as he murmurs, "If She doesn't come back from this.."

You bury your head in the Seal of Beauty's shoulder and begin to weep
uncontrollably.

You say to the Seal of Beauty, "I miss me old auntie and three uncles. I miss
the good ol' days. I miss never having to have met Isune."

You give the Seal of Beauty a compassionate hug.

You collapse into the Seal of Beauty's arms and begin to cry.

You slump down dejectedly.

You feel overwhelmed by it all and faint.

A tiny, quiet voice touches against your thoughts, barely discernable both
within your head and from the cavern around you. "Oh, my, oh my... what is
wrong?"

You say, "I'm sad."

Volucer snaps his head up, ears perking.

You say, "I'm thinking of de old days, and I just feel unhappy and lost."

Lord Nucoras Mibri, Lost Oracle of Isune suddenly glances up at the Seal, his
gaze no longer distant.

You say, "Do ye ever feel dat way?"

It is now the 18th of Shanthin, 128 years after the Coming of Estarra.

"I think I'm a little lost, too..." the voice admits quietly.

You say, "Why do ye feel lost?"

Volucer lays his ears back and relaxes, his eyes lidding halfway.

You say, "Maybe we can help each other not feel lost."

Lord Nucoras Mibri, Lost Oracle of Isune gives a slight nod at that.

You have emoted: Tully looks sad, still thinking of the things that bother him.

You give the Seal of Beauty a compassionate hug.

The voice keeps its curious note, murmuring after a long pause, "Well... I
can't really talk to people... well, oh, that's not what I mean... I can talk
to people, but I can't... oh, that's a hard thing to put into words."

Volucer lowers his head and carefully scratches one ear with a taloned foot.

Lord Nucoras Mibri, Lost Oracle of Isune quietly asks, "You can't figure out
what to say to people?"

You say, "Maybe she means she doesn't speak like we do."

"Both of those, a little bit, I think." It says in a more decided manner. "And
when I do talk to people, as I do, they always want to see me, and I am curious
to see things, too, but this is all I can do."

You put your hands on your hips and go "Hmmm!"

"It's getting a little better, though..." the voice murmurs, almost as an
afterthought.

Volucer tips his head to one side, curiously.

Lord Nucoras Mibri, Lost Oracle of Isune murmurs, "All you can do as in talk or
stay here?"

You say, "I'm wondering. Have ye ever tried to communicate to somebody who was
not awake?"

You say, "We mortals do this thing we call dreaming. Maybe ye can try
communicating to somebody who's asleep. Dreams are more visual."

"All I can do as in talk, yes." The voice murmurs, then pauses for a moment.
"Dream... someone's said I'm dreamwalking before, do you think that's it, too?"

Nucoras ponders the situation.

Lord Nucoras Mibri, Lost Oracle of Isune says, "Who said that?"

You say, "I dunno if it's Dreamwalking. But maybe we can try something. I'm
gonna go to sleep. Let me know if (a) ye can see what I dream about, and (cool.gif
maybe ye can try to communicate to me in de dream."

You have emoted: Tully readies himself.

You say, "Here we go."

You close your eyes, curl up in a ball, and fall asleep.

Opening your eyes, you look down upon yourself and see that you are dressed in
a set of flowing and official black robes which dance and billow in a dramatic
wind. Before you stands a ravenwood podium, facing a huge crowd of people that
listen intently and wait for you to speak. Your mind blanks out for a bare
moment, but then you remember, and begin to recite a spirited speech exalting
the Engine of Transformation. Soon, the crowd begins to roar, their fists
raised in pride and triumph. You join them, pumping your arm in the air, as the
rows of roaring citizens roll towards you like a giant wave.

A mind numbing sense of coldness seeps through your bones, silken caresses
brushing against your face as you feel weightless. With your last thoughts, you
come to the realization that you are somehow drowning.

You open your eyes and stretch languidly, feeling deliciously well-rested.

You say, "Guess not."

You say, "Sorry if my dreams seem dour. I guess it comes from being around some
dark boyos."

"I could see them, but... not do anything to them..." the voice says softly.

You ponder the situation.

You say, "So, ye can see dreams."

You see a single exit leading out.

Nucoras ponders the situation.

Look Nucoras

He is an ordinary human and his hair goes down to just slightly past his
shoulder blades and has a white color with a blueish tint that is matte from
lack of grease and lack of all but practical care. His forehead is a slight
curve that is only slightly bordered by a curvey line near the top that is
composed of unruly strands of hair. His eyes are a dark blue in color, with
enough blue to tell they aren't black in normal lighting. His skin has a pale
peach complexion and his body is wirey with a muscular build that shows he
prefers to balance flexibility and strength rather than choosing a favorite. He
is wearing a pair of scaled leggings, a scaled jacket, a blue steel
star-crested greathelm, a howling wolf ring, a ring of waters, a golden dragon
ring, a ring of waters, a golden dragon ring, a golden dragon bracelet, and a
platinum wave bracelet.

Volucer clips his beak, as though trying to say something, then lays his ears
back and lowers his head in a frustrated motion, his talons tensing.

You shall now speak in Dwarven.

You say, in Dwarven, "Ye can understand me even though I speak another language
now, right?"

Lord Nucoras Mibri, Lost Oracle of Isune reaches a hand over to scratch
Volucer's head.

Volucer relaxes slightly at the scratching.

"Of course I can." The voice giggles faintly, creating a chiming sound upon the
air.

You shall now speak in the common tongue.

You say, "Ah."

You say, "So ye a polyglot."

You nod your head emphatically.

You say, "Ye can obviously understand de divine speech that someone spoke to ye
a few months back, right?"

The voice falls into a curious tone again, "A polywhat? And, oh, yes, I could."

You say, "Polyglot--means one who can speak many languages."

You say, "Sorry, sometimes I use big words."

You blush furiously.

Nucoras chuckles long and heartily.

You say, "I remember there being three choices ye mentioned that the one you
talked to ye mentioned. Can ye tell us what they were, if ye remember?"

You say, "It's okay if ye can't."

"Well, the first was to go along with Her, but then the bird there came in and
was taken along instead..." The voice says after some time, sounding a little
confused.

Nucoras ponders the situation.

You say, "Okay, first choice, do whatever she wanted ye to do..."

Lord Nucoras Mibri, Lost Oracle of Isune says to you, "I would assume the other
two would be to stay inside the Seal and Be destroyed, or somesuch. It really
did not seem like Viravain would admit there being other choices."

You tell Lord Nucoras Mibri, Lost Oracle of Isune, "Please don't say her name.
You never know if she can hear. I've invoked blue, but we can never be too
careful."

You tell Lord Nucoras Mibri, Lost Oracle of Isune, "We must keep this private,
I think the larger a crowd, the more danger we're in."

Volucer grunts noncommitally.

Nucoras tells you, "Aye."

You say, "I think the thing we need to figure out is what ye want."

You say, "For yeself."

Nucoras nods his head emphatically.

You say, "The eldest of the elder gods, Roark Liberatis, believes in a concept
called freedom. Ye do as ye wish to do. It's a concept I recommend."

Volucer nods his head sagely.

Lord Nucoras Mibri, Lost Oracle of Isune smiles slightly as he quietly says,
"Aye. And you mentioned you wanted to see things, use that as an anchor."

"There's not much I can, though..." The voice says, a little sullen. "Here...
um... here, I can talk louder, to more people at once... and it's getting a lot
easier to sense things, and I'm remembering little odds and ends... I suppose
that's a start, but there's little useful in all of that..."

Volucer ponders the situation.

Volucer clips his beak together twice, making faint clicking sounds.

You say, "One thing. Always question everybody, including us. We may not know
the right path. Always question, never accept one source. The key reason I
spoke out was because the boyo who spoke to ye with the three options was
speaking in a language no mortal can understand. She likely did that so we
could not object or present our perspective. Ye always need to talk to multiple
people to get the proper perspective."

Nucoras nods his head emphatically.

Volucer lets out a slow squeak of a sound, resembling a deflating balloon.

Nucoras blinks incredulously at Volucer.

Volucer ponderously tries a soft hiss, ending it in an awkward mousey squeak,
then again lays his ears back in an annoyed movement.

Lord Nucoras Mibri, Lost Oracle of Isune gently pats Volucer on the back of his
head.

You say, "I wish ye had physical form or some sort of center to yeself, Whisp.
We people in existance can communicate using aetheral tells, allowing us direct
communication with ye no matter where we are in de multiverse."

You say, "I guess ye are still 'forming' or something."

Lord Nucoras Mibri, Lost Oracle of Isune says, "And, you may not be able to see
these things yet, but you may one day so it would be a good idea to know what
you want to see."

You say, "I want to try one thing to maybe try to make ye remember, but since
ye are in such a unique form, it may not work. It's worth a shot."

Momentarily, incandescent patterns of colour shimmer through the very air
around the Seal of Beauty before it recovers its natural glow.

You say, "Ye can see this platinum sword, right?"

You wave an ornate platinum longsword about energetically.

The voice picks up a little bit. "I was talking to a Traesri yesterday..." It
pauses, a little ponderously. "He said Lacostian was trying to bring back
Isune, and that was probably why the scary one was after me, so I probably am
Isune on some level." It finishes that quite decidedly again. "I asked more
questions, but he couldn't answer them... I always try to ask lots of
questions..."

You say, "Ah."

You say, "Okay."

You say, "Getting back to my idea..."

As though realizing it's going off on a tangent, the voice quickly says a flat,
"Oh, yes." in response to the question of the sword.

You say, "Okay."

You say, "I want ye to focus on this sword and block everything out."

You have emoted: Tully starts waving the sword slowly back and forth.

You have emoted: Tully starts waving the sword slowly back and forth.

Faint motes of light spark to life along the edge of the disk and dance across
its surface before fading back out of existance.

Volucer shakes slightly in silent laughter and lowers his head for a moment to
nose through the feathers on one wing.

You say, "Just focus on this sword, think of nothing but following it."

Volucer picks his head back up to watch Tully curiously.

You have emoted: Tully moves the sword in a slow and rhythmic patter.

You have recovered balance on all limbs.

You tell Volucer, "Quiet You"

You say, "Just try to think of nothing but this."

Volucer lays his ears back and relaxes, his eyes lidding halfway.

You have emoted: Tully slowly move the sword back and forth, to and fro.

Nik leaves to the out.

You say, "I want you to just concentrate on me voice."

You have emoted: Tully slowly rocks the sword back and forth.

Faint, shimmering sparks of light burst into life along the edge of the blade.

You say, "Now I want ye to relax ye thoughts, relax whatever ye can relax. Just
drift and relax."

You have emoted: Tully starts to slow the movement of the sword.

You have recovered balance on all limbs.

You say, "Just think of nothing, relax, go down deep within ye own self, ye own
thoughts..."

The sparks swirl fluidly along the blade's broad side, reflected in its
surface.

You say, "As I slow de sword, ye are more relaxed and peaceful..."

You have emoted: Tully moves the sword to a halt.

You say, "Now, Whisp, if ye can hear me, respond."

You see the following people here:
Nucoras, Tully

You say to Nucoras, "I dunno if hypnosis works on a spirit, but it's worth a
shot."

"I can..." the voice says slowly. "What are we trying to do...?"

You say, "I want ye to try to remember ye past. Just relax and drift, listening
only to me voice..."

You say, "Imagine a bunch of clouds, and focus on the clouds drifting, rocking
back and forth..."

You say, "Each one passing, ye are more at peace with yeself."

You say, "Ye are not afraid, ye are peaceful, nothing can hurt ye..."

Dancing along the platinum sword, the sparks shift in colour and intensity,
with some growing brighter, some more dim.

You say, "Hmm..."

You say, "Okay, now, Whisp, are ye relaxed?"

You say, "Say yes if ye are."

Nucoras yawns suddenly and mightily.

You say to Nucoras, "Don't ye fall asleep boyo."

There's just a quiet little hum in reply, the sparks along the blade
momentarily pulsing more brightly. After a moment, it murmurs a dreamy, "Yes."

You say, "Okay, I want ye to focus on what I point at."

You point accusingly at Volucer.

Volucer peers at you unscrupulously.

You say, "Concentrate on Volucer and try to remember."

You must wait a short while to use a say-like command again.

Dripping water echoes in the distance.

You say, "Does this bird mean anything to ye? Keep focusing on him..."

You say, "Can ye remember anything about him..."

You say, "Just focus and concentrate, drift ye mind back to a different
time..."

Volucer lays his ears back and relaxes, his eyes lidding halfway.

The smell of decay assaults your nostrils.

You say, "If ye can, tell us..."

You say, "If ye can't, tell us as well..."

Nucoras yawns suddenly and mightily.

The smell of decay assaults your nostrils.

The voice lets out a soft, musical hum again. "He's got... um... stars... yeah,
he has stars, but he's not the only one here with them." The voice fades off
slightly at that, seemingly distracted for a bare moment, before it picks up
again. "I remember, though..." It pauses for a long moment.

Volucer tilts his head curiously.

Lord Nucoras Mibri, Lost Oracle of Isune lets out a soft chuckle, murmuring,
"And me?"

Comprehension flashes across your face.

You say, "Okay..."

You say, "Can ye now drift inward."

You say, "Think about yeself. Try to imagine ye own body, if ye had one, in ye
mind..."

You say, "As ye listen to my voice, imagine ye body...imagine ye face, ye arms,
ye legs...as you hear me talk, ye can see the vision clearer in ye mind."

Lord Nucoras Mibri, Lost Oracle of Isune quietly pipes in, "And wings."

You say, "How do ye envision yeself..."

Wisps of light slowly drift around the hollowed disk of smoky quartz, trailing
faint flecks of light in their wake.

Delicate whispers touch your mind as a hollowed disk of smoky quartz spins
increasingly faster, the susurrations fading from perception momentarily with a
flash of soft grey light.

Nucoras yawns suddenly and mightily.

Volucer winces in pain.

You say, "If ye can't envision yeself, that's okay..."

Volucer eyes the disk before fluffing up his feathers, folding his wings
tightly against his sides.

"I sort of... I don't know..." The voice murmurs in a quiet and confused tone.

You say, "Okay...that's okay...that's fine..."

You say, "One last thing...then we will end de trance and let ye gather
strength..."

You say, "Listen to me clearly, you are safe, you are strong, nothing I show ye
can hurt ye here..."

A soft breeze caresses your exposed skin, sending shivers through your body.

You say, "I want ye to think back to the last memories ye had before..."

You say, "If ye can...when ye once had a form..."

You say, "I'm going to show you something..."

You say, "But remember, this can't hurt ye...a memory can hurt ye..."

A mass of thick brown leather and silver buckles, this military backpack
is ideal for storing a variety of goods. Many pockets, each closed with
a buckle of shining silver, offer both protection and easy access to the
contents within. The main compartment is very large, ideal for storing
equipment for battle, and is tied shut with a silken cord. With straps
made of soft leather, the weight of this pack is significantly lessened
on the wearer. On closer inspection, the words "Discipline Empower Me,"
the ur'Guard motto, have been burned into the leather at the base of the
pack.
It has 5 months of usefulness left.
It weighs about 3 pounds and 0 ounce(s).
It bears the distinctive mark of Veonira d'Murani, the Earth Wench.
A rugged military backpack is holding:

"trousers60030" plain grey trousers
"painting21792" a painting of Bricriu
"painting31264" a painting of Almighty Kethuru
10117 gold sovereigns.

You take a painting of Almighty Kethuru from a rugged military backpack.

You say, "Do ye remember dis boyo."

Nucoras blinks.

You display a painting of Almighty Kethuru for all in the room to see.

You say, "Do ye remember anything about how ye saved us...what ye did..."

Volucer hisses faintly, lowering his head.

You say, "Remember, ye are safe. A memory can't hurt ye."

"I..." the voice whispers, trailing off.

You say, "Don't be afraid..."

The smell of decay assaults your nostrils.

Translucent and glittering feathers drift through the center of the disk,
disappearing a moment later.

You notice Nucoras's eyelids are beginning to droop.

You say, "It's okay, if ye not ready to remember...it's okay..."

One by one, the sparks of light along the blade begin to wink out.

You say, "Okay..."

You say, "I will count from 1 to 5. When I reach 5, ye'll be totally lucid and
as ye were..."

You say, "1..."

You say, "2...feeling more alert and aware..."

You say, "3...feeling animated..."

You say, "4...out of relaxation..."

You say, "And 5..."

The body of Suhnaye Whytetower appears in a flash and his soul descends to fill
it, causing the previously expressionless face to fill with emotion.

You put a painting of Almighty Kethuru into a rugged military backpack.

You notice Nucoras's eyelids are beginning to droop.

You say, "If ye can hear us Whisp, thanks."

Nucoras nods his head emphatically.

You say, "I am glad ye followed me instructions."

You say, "I guess Whisp is gone."

Lord Nucoras Mibri, Lost Oracle of Isune says, "For now, it seems."

Suhnaye grows still and his lips begin to move silently.

You say, "She's probably not ready to think of Kethuru."

Lord Nucoras Mibri, Lost Oracle of Isune says, "Aye."

Suhnaye is enveloped in translucent fire for a moment and is gone, his soul
safe until he returns to Lusternia.

"I..." The voice just says slowly and quietly again after a long silence, not
sounding terribly calm. "Y-you're... welcome." It stutters.

You say, "I understand, thanks for ye cooperation. Keep yeself safe and spend a
lot of time being introspective."

You notice Nucoras's eyelids are beginning to droop.

Lord Nucoras Mibri, Lost Oracle of Isune reaches a hand over to pat the top of
the Seal.

You say, "We care about ye Whisp, remember that."

Lord Nucoras Mibri, Lost Oracle of Isune says, "Agreed."

Volucer flutters his wings, dislodging loose feathers which drift to the
ground.

You say to Volucer, "And ye thought I was nuts, eh?"

With your mighty index finger extended, you poke Volucer.

Nucoras utters a deep, rumbling laugh.

Nucoras picks up a diamond.

Volucer nods his head sagely at you.

Nucoras peers at Volucer unscrupulously.

Lord Nucoras Mibri, Lost Oracle of Isune says, "And, you really should clean
yourself up."

You have emoted: Tully preens Volucer.

You say to Nucoras, "Tell the others allied to ye what we did here."

You notice Nucoras's eyelids are beginning to droop.

Lord Nucoras Mibri, Lost Oracle of Isune says, "Of course."

Lord Nucoras Mibri, Lost Oracle of Isune says, "They are the remains of the
Order, after all."

You say, "It might help in the future. I'm just a hedge-yogi. Some of the
moondancers might be better at dis stuff than I am."

Lord Nucoras Mibri, Lost Oracle of Isune says, "I would not suggest
broadcasting how to gain Whisp's attention, however."

You nod your head emphatically.

You say, "This isn't goin' in de news."

Nucoras nods his head emphatically.

Nucoras ponders the situation.

You pick up 12 powerstones.

Lord Nucoras Mibri, Lost Oracle of Isune says, "It is Her."

Lord Nucoras Mibri, Lost Oracle of Isune says, "She sensed the motes."

You have emoted: Tully erases the circle.

Lord Nucoras Mibri, Lost Oracle of Isune says, "Even if She does not remember
how to use them."

You say, "Ever if she isn't able to do trance, at least concentrating made her
introspective."

Nucoras nods his head emphatically.

With a flourish, you slip an ornate platinum longsword into a shining silver
scabbard.

Delicate whispers touch your mind as a hollowed disk of smoky quartz spins
increasingly faster, the susurrations fading from perception momentarily with a
flash of soft grey light.

You notice Nucoras's eyelids are beginning to droop.

You say, "Well, gotta go back to me job."

Lord Nucoras Mibri, Lost Oracle of Isune says, "Volucer and I both have motes
of Her essence."

Nucoras nods his head emphatically.

You give Nucoras a compassionate hug.

Volucer sways back and forth.

Lord Nucoras Mibri, Lost Oracle of Isune says, "Cleaning up Magnagora?"

The corners of Nucoras's mouth turn up as he grins mischievously.

You give Volucer a compassionate hug.

You say, "Somebody's gotta do it."

Nucoras nods his head emphatically.

You say, "I'm a bondsman, I serve my debt with honor though I don't agree with
much of the Philosophy dere."

You wave goodbye.

You tug upon the aether strands around you, searching for one that connects to
the Megalith of Doom.

Nucoras gives you a respectful salute.

You have recovered equilibrium.

Lord Nucoras Mibri, Lost Oracle of Isune says, "Once I am more experianced, I
am willing to help."

The corners of Nucoras's mouth turn up as he grins mischievously.

Volucer nods his head at you.

If people don't remember, Viravain had muted Volucer at that time.

You can see some foreshadowing. I mentioned things like my bonded servitude at that time. I also had my Kethuru Painting which I then whipped out later on when she actually came back (not intentional--I was yelling at him for messing up goddesses!). My attempt at hypnotizing whisp was vague...dunno if it worked or not.

This will always be one of my best memories of the game.
