Something just feels stagnant to me, but I can't put my finger on it. This is not to offend anyone or to put this beauty that is Lusternia down! I was just wondering if anyone else feels it too, or even knows what it might be?

Er.. isn't the definition of stagnant pretty much a lack of change? There have been new areas, new gods, and new skillsets. all tied in with nifty events.

I have no idea what more you could want.

I can honestly say I haven't felt any such thing. Just the complete oposite in fact.
Sylphas2006-08-18 19:15:06
It felt like it, sort of, but the war broke that up pretty well.
Athana2006-08-18 19:17:08
Umm, yeah havn't felt that since Athana moved smile.gif

I wholeheartedly DISagree with this statement.
Veonira2006-08-18 19:23:41
I might have said that a few months ago, but definitely not now. I'm actually really loving Lusternia, and sad that I have to go back to school which will drastically cut my play time.
Unknown2006-08-18 19:32:51
I have to agree, stagnant couldn't be farther from the truth in Lusternia. We've seen a wave of events, and envoy updates, and new gods recently.

Edit:If ever we had stagnation it was when they were trying to get around all those manditory server upgrades.

Dont forget the Observatory! The place where your morals are really tested!
Everiine2006-08-18 19:42:16
You might be referring to your meeting with Everiine. Yes, he was firm, cold, and may have approached the rude line. I'm sorry if that offended you as a player, that's just how he reacts to all people that shouldn't be wandering around his home tongue.gif.

I seem to remember someone having morals tested when they got an innocent merian girl captured by playing hide and seek, hmmm?

Thats was just mean...I didnt know playing with her would get her caught. dry.gif

What I meant was it makes you think before doing the quest, do you want to enslave people or kill people.

The only possible way I can think of that you'll feel this way is if you've been gone for a long while, and don't have that many friends IC you can talk to.

Try to get yourself involved more, and seek out info on the latest news, discovered areas and such. I had a similar problem when I was gone for two IRL months or so.
Druken2006-08-18 21:09:27
It could also mean that your character's simply in need of a change. Enlist yourself in another life, and stagnation should melt away quickly.

I felt quite similar to what you're describing when I was a Moondancer. The Shadowdancers certainly fixed that.

Im certainly not going to stop you. Go enjoy the game.

Like everyone else, I have to disagree. With the war and all of these events, seems much more exciting than it was a month or so before that. Especially since school's started up and my playing time is limited once again. Because of its limitation, it's more fun. smile.gif
Unknown2006-08-18 22:20:54
I was feeling pretty stagnant myself, but with the recent events I've managed to swing back into action. Having a good deal of fun now.
Sylphas2006-08-18 22:31:54
It threw me for a second when I realized that Sylphas would help the slaves, seeing as he slaughters merian children for profit, but then I realized he just hates Merians. smile.gif
