Egh, not sure if this goes here or not, but why not get diseases when you are exploring? Something that can only be cured by a healer? Higher circle areas to lower circle areas deal in different strengths. If you've already visited the place already, over time you'll build an immunity to the disease.

Also another thing, dizziness from going up and down quickly in altitudes? Or getting dizziness from diving too far due to pressure?

Because we call this punishment for exploring, you do not randomly afflict players so they have to wait and pray for an allied healer. We are looking for new affs, not new ways to get the old ones!

I'm sorry if this has been suggested already, but this thought came to my mind

SACRAMENTS: SHACKLE

Subdue the unholy with chains of Light, locking their feet and hands and causing them to fall down. Only works on those branded as Heretic, Infidel, or Inquisitioned. Does not reset the duration of them.

You are suddenly shackled in bright chains of light, causing you to trip and fall prone.

You condem the branded and shackle him/her with holy chains, readying the execution

I don't know if this will overpower a skillset that already has some nice buffs. It will take some timing to use it, and you could always tumble away. It would also help make Judgement a useable skill

If you're having trouble, I'd honestly say you just need to work on your strategies.
Talbert2012-01-20 16:24:57
That's a given haha but I really think this is a good affliction to add that doesn't overpower the skillset

I'm disagreeing and saying that Sacraments is pretty good and doesn't need this.
Enyalida2012-01-20 18:38:41
I'm agreeing with Zarquan.

Me three.

Couldn't you just ABJURE/POINT Web?
Talbert2012-01-20 20:28:01
Yeah you could use web, and I agree Sacraments is pretty solid as it stands, but just because it's good doesn't mean you can't improve it, as long as it doesn't become overpowered.

How about this then: can't writhe free from it, chains the target to you so you could drag him/her to an ajoining space, in essence dragging the condemned to judgement, and lasts 5 seconds. A power cost of 3 for something like this would be adequate I think.

This is just an idea I have and I want to know of others think its pointless, overpowering, or any other con you can think of.
Rika2012-01-20 20:29:08
Yes, that is overpowered. Happy?
Unknown2012-01-20 20:30:48
Agreed. lolop. 5 second unwritheable entangle plus forced movement during that time? Yeah no. Sacraments is already VERY good; it doesn't need much else.

Solo judgement kills are rarely practical. You should be absolving, damage killing, or Soullessing.

Now in a group situation... when I was a Celestine, I used two skills when I was fighting in a group: Judgement, and Hangedman.

He's a warrior.

Uh.

Hrm. I defend what I said, but understand that it has absolutely no relevance.

On the other hand, I also encourage him to think about changes to a shared skillset, and understand that what may make it seem okay for one class drastically overpowers it for another.

Since I've never played anything except warrior I had no idea how it would play with other classes, so thank you all for the input.
