Wow, there's some great ideas here!
How about more magical/spiritual afflictions?
Hmm, I can't make up my mind if it's a good idea for weed to be a cure...

Negative Magics - Let's the victim suffer more damage against magical attack
Spiritually Cursed - Victim recovers from Focus Spirit twice as slow
Stupify - Does Transfix/Stupidity/Confused
hmm, how's that?

I don't know about weed having a cure, but if you made absinthe able to be applied to weapons... A cure for weed would soon follow

Wild Magic: Causes the spellcaster to cast a spell randomly rather than what he wants (so if you do GEOCAST BOULDERBLAST, you could instead do CAST FREEZE AT GROUND, or if you do CAST GUST you just might instead do AQUACAST TURTLE)
Manaburn: Causes spells to take double the mana to cast.
Stasis-Aura: Locks the victim's body in a magical stasis for an alloted amount of time. He can act normally, but whatever afflictions he/she recieves cannot be cured unless the stasis is cured (maybe by an enchantment only!) or it wears off. There would be a limit to this though, such as no locking Aeon or Cromatine
Just off-the-head ideas *shrug*

Because necromancy needs help.
1) Get an ur'Guard envoy.
2) Get a Nihilist envoy.
3) Get a... hey, there is a new geomancer envoy. Finally, an envoy from Magnagora!

BluntForce: Using the face of the axe, an Axelord can alter his/her swing at the last second to hit with the face of the axe, rather than the blade. This gives the target various afflictions, based on which limb was hit.
Head: Concussion
Chest/Gut: Knocks them to another room
Legs: BruisedShin which stops stancing
Arms: ShatteredArm which stops parry on the afflicted side (ie you can only parry the opposite leg or arm)
All hits give a little stun.

Manabarbs: All mana costs are subtracted from your health instead of your mana. Have fun bedeviling that back. Or maybe the cost is split equally between health and mana.
Egocentric: Health damage is dealt to your ego instead.
Delusional: 25% chance that an action targetted against you will give a random message. For example, if you're delusional, and Tuek Moonbursts you, it will appear as if he hexed you, or cast a reflection on you or something.

That's a defense more than affliction, actually isn't that what Telekinesis Forcefield do?

I'd LOVE this affliction. *Uses on self, rarely cures*

True, that is exactly what forcefield does. Hmm, maybe make it mana and health damage? I was thinking along the lines of sticking this on a low charisma race who wouldn't want it.

Try fighting a druid with it on, and clotting a lot. And Wiccans can run through gobs of mana at a time (drawing and throwing lots of hexes ran me out of mana, which took a hell of a lot of doing with level 3 mana regen and a sprite).
Bulimia: Eating or drinking will cause you to vomit.

Depression - You could do it if you wanted to, but why bother?

although if weed is eaten or turned into rope, then maybe it can be a cure.

(By the way, my favourite one here by FAR is the final fantasy-esque confusion someone suggested, which chose random targets for your skills from the people in the room )
Mana leak - doubles all mana costs
Restructured perception - when trying to target a body part, a random body part is chosen (apply mending to head might make you apply mending to legs instead, crush shorlen left arm might crush shorlen's right leg instead, etc)
Stutter - take extra damage from debates, can't SAY/YELL/SHOUT
Slowed digestion - double herb balance
Watercurse - sipping potions/purgatives has a 50% chance of failing, but does not consume balance if it fails
Slow absorption - all herbs/salves/purgatives have a one second delay before working

Spiritbound to (person): While you are in the room with the person who gave you this affliction, you cannot leave by physical means (cannot walk out and maybe cannot tumble out?). Cured by reishi, givable by angels (japhiel power), demons (baalphegar power), and hexes.

Here’s some ideas for spiritual afflictions and the cities that could bestow them.
Serenwilde
Feral – The target thinks he his a wild animal and acts accordingly. He will growl, drool, and whine at random. Target cannot attack with a weapon, instead he will punch, kick and bite.
Celest
Awestruck – Awed by the purity of the Supernals, the target repeatedly kneels to the caster and pledges his devotion.
This would be fun, because it would be so humiliating
Babble ---- Any say command is expressed in a random language.
Repentance --- Target sobbs uncontrollably and begs the Supernals forgiveness, causing a loss in balance randomly. The higher the targets cityrank, the longer the effects last.
Conversion--- Target stops attacking, and begins proselytizing about the Light, randomly. Caster cannot attack target.
Magnagora
Mark of Fain --- Target is considered an enemy by his cities NPCs. He will be affected by statues attuned to city enemies, shop keepers cannot sell to him, etc.
Masochist – Damage to your health heals your ego.
Hemorrhage – Doubles bleeding damage of an individual already bleeding.
Haemovore – Target stops what they are doing and sucks on any bleeding individual in the room.

How about individual afflictions that slow down each of the balances? We already have deadening for focus.
Purgative balance, herb balance, salve balance, balance balance, and equilibrium balance (though ectoplasm/confusion already exist, it'd be nice to have an affliction version of ectoplasm that is cured by an herb or some such, and also perhaps a different cure for the equilibrium slowing one, and it could potentially stack and be more/less severe, and wouldn't have the anti-concentrate functionality).
Also, an affliction that has a chance to cause purgative/herb/salve failure (not all, just one), and is respectively cured by whatever it has a chance to cause fail, and it CONSUMES the respective balance when it fails.
Also about the manabarbs, it should subtract mana costs from BOTH mana and health if you have it and use a mana using ability (potentially if you were amissio'd/lashed/leeched as well). Oh and make it a hex affliction.
Afflictions that damage you if you use balance? Or equilibrium?
Senility: Like relapsing, only for mental afflictions.

Atleast soemone got my joke.
I would like to see an affliction that makes you sleep untill somebody kisses you, but It would have to be part of an event, because as an affliction it would just become silly once people figure it out.
