the problem is people keep wanting to nerf all warriors which is not needed, it is just ixion doing this kind of insane damage and sometimes others that have access to drawdown/nightkiss (whichever one raises weaponstats)

Ixion, I even stated you were a Titan in my post. I clearly didn't forget, I just made a wrong estimate. And Ixion, all robes are 'horrible'. It seems to me like the classes that need the most defence against physical damage are, infact, getting the least in the form of armour. My robes aren't great, no, but you don't get robes that offer a stunning defence like the 109/109 of Fullplate.

There are few more swords with very similiar stats as his.
I had 2 of them myself, now someone else have them.
So it is possible to spend a lot of $ for runes and for those swords that still exists, go human bash to level 99 go to Serenguard, take forging and be badass like Ixion.

A lot of Celestines/Aquamancers have 'barely' 3k health. Web him and he'll writhe free; most likely size 1. Telepathy paralyse and he'll get out and kill me before I get psionic balance back. You also assume it's possible to demesne during a raid. You also need to note that I was writhing free of a -single- pinleg about 0.1 second before he attacked again.

I have not thought this through thoroughly, but an interesting change could be to make warrior's attacks have an increased percentage of maxhealth damage, and a lower set damage. The percentage could then be dependant upon the damage stat of the sword, and the pre-defined amount of damage caused could be dependant on strength. So, instead of dealing 1000 base damage plus 10% maxhealth, it could deal 500 base damage and 20% maxhealth. Again, would need plenty of tweaking. Just something to ponder.

He only needs to hit three times, four if Soll can sip a few times. That's two combos. You can't honestly expect someone to be able to perfectly hinder someone so they never get hit at all.

Yes, Ekard has it right. Dexterity increases your chance of getting afflictions, and increases your stance effectiveness. But it modified both in such a minimal way that dexterity is ignorable. For afflictions - doubly so with maneu... techniques.
