Please don't be like that. I'm just going off the knowledge that is publicly presented.

Adventurers in Lusternia have six stats (or statistics):

Dex - Dexterity    - relates to your ability to avoid getting hit in combat
and, for wariors, gives a slight boost to wounding
Con - Constitution - relates to your maximum health
Int - Intelligence - affects your maximum mana and magical damage
Chr - Charisma    - affects your maximum ego and influence speed
Siz - Size        - reflects to how large/small you are, affects some
                    skills

They're wrong. You're right.
It's just that dexterity's benefit on wounding is SO SMALL that it doesn't really even need to be mentioned, despite what the help file says.

Yes, Ekard has it right. Dexterity increases your chance of getting afflictions, and increases your stance effectiveness. But it modified both in such a minimal way that dexterity is ignorable. For afflictions - doubly so with maneu... techniques.
Try fighting as an Igasho and say that again. Dexterity plays a huge impact on how often you get decent afflictions.

That is... bad.
Lunging mean stances and parrying would have no effect, I assume? And razing rebounding is pretty trivial.
It does look a little excessive at first glance. I still wish we could make dodging a warrior more integral to defending against one, if they continue to be as potentially devastating as some obviously are.
So... what do warriors think would fix this?

He has a level two racial disadvantage to me, and only 3k health. He did not have any significant demesne effects up. What the heck do you expect? I could drop Soll easily with wounding swords as well. "Oh noz nerf wounding warriors too"
His attacks didn't hinder me much either. I focus body out of paralysis very fast (just under a second), and I regen his mindblast almost. He went for a damage kill on one of the tankiest people out there, out of demesne no less. Bad. Idea. He did do deadened mind a bit. Tervic should not use mantakaya when with telepaths and no telekinetics.
Edit: Soll was the mage, and the leader. He had to know I'd go for him first. He was with a BC also, who pounded some decent stuns via knockdown on me. He should have capitalized on this, by complimenting the stun with a certain something. He can use me being a titan to your advantage actually. Assume titans to be size 1 or size 25, most of the time. You can use the knowledge to help you make them pay either way.

I love how its everyone else's fault that your swords are disgustingly good.

Just so I can understand... you have lightning runes on both your weapons, presumably? That means 1/3 of the damage is going to fall under his level 2 weakness, and 2/3 will be regular damage.
Assuming for the moment that level 2 weakness corresponds to a doubling of the usual damage (which I seriously doubt), that means that you will be doing
2/3 + (1/3)*2 = 4/3 of the amount of damage you would do to someone without weaknesses.
Given each swing was about 1350 damage to Soll, that means without his weakness you would be doing 1350/(4/3) or around 1000 damage per combo. He sips for 600, which means two combos without hindering would still be death.
I'm not sure the weakness really changes that much, does it?
(Yes, there's probably a mistake in there somewhere, feel free to point it out. )
Edit: Actually, that's odd. In the last two sets of your logs, his damage is about 200 less than the others. Different robes?
Sylphas2006-08-21 15:50:09
Only 3k? For many races, that's at least level 70. 11 con doesn't hit 3k until level 73. Con food and yellow boosts it about 300 more. For anyone who isn't a warrior, 4k is very nice and 5k is incredible.

If you want to fight titans, you shouldn't come with a low level. Plus, Ixion has a few arties. You too can get tanky with a few arties!

The logs are actually in reverse chronological order. I didn't see a reason to defup the last three times because it was a waste of power for only reducing his damage by 200. He would still kill me just as quickly.

I don't particularly care to give up the ability to do any damage at all though, which is what I'd have to do to obtain that kind of health, though admittedly human and loboshigaru both look rather tempting at times.

Offense means absolutely nothing when you're dead. Two combos is very, very few.
And how is it fair that warriors get huge offense AND huge tankiness, whereas any race that wants faster equilibrium or more int take hits like a wet paper bag. It works for D&D and such because wizards have incredible offense that can smash whole groups instantly. In Lusternia, there's no mage who can do that sort of damage.

Merians have level 1 equi. He could've blackouted Ixion as a Dreamweaver and ran. He could've put up forcefield and ran.
It's his own fault for coming BACK to him. Mages are there for demesnecombat. I don't even know why you complain when fighting him without a several room demesne.
And as info, I tank better as a Mage than as a Warrior.

You do realise that a demesne is going to make you last, oh, 3 seconds longer if you're lucky against someone who can kill you in two combos, right? The demesne will only help you run away better.
