You assume wrong.

State things more clearly then please. You call vengeance upon someone, and the avatar of avechna goes and kills said bully. If it kills someone else instead (as Dysolis found out recently, too) it is a bug.

Edit: I agree with the content albiet not the tone of your post Narsrim. I was trying to give people a head's up on what the admins have directly stated. Perhaps I should just issue everyone I see doing it, and waste more of the admin's time, but I'd rather just let people know who didn't know such, and then hope that the majority of people just follow the rules. It's not that hard.

Number 2 is not illegal and not issueable unless they actually succeed, which shouldn't be mechanically possible. Seeing as it didn't go through, there was no foul play.

Yea I agree it isn't illegal. Just kind of sad he would do that in the first place... knowing it is illegal if he succeeded in some flimsy way (which besides a code error shouldn't happen) he should be shrubbed. But since trying isn't illegal it is just really stupid of him to show that he is willing to try illegal moves to win. A very poor way to play.

Coming from someone who spammed me with like 150 commands in a row while I was graced for the sole fact of trying to spam me, I really don't see how you can complain about anyone attempting to gust you when it isn't possible yet as attacking someone graced isn't possible, ya know?

Yes, I recall alot of Celest use grace as a shield to be as port targets or to grab corpses etc. This isn't illegal I guess but in poor taste also... I don't mean this at you exactly Narsrim, I was not there for that one.... I have seen it done though many times by many different people of Celest.

I think it'd be more fun to take a page out of your book and leave things at that, and let you wonder at what I do or do not know. halo.gif

I doubt this person had a master plan to try to get around to code in a well calculated risk in hopes that it'd work and he wouldn't get in trouble for it. Such actions are acceptable when defending Celestia, so I'm sure in the pressure of the moment, it slipped his mind that such things we're allowed on prime.

If you issued once and got told to stfu (which I'm fairly certain you would), I assure you no more time would be wasted and you wouldn't be complaining for some unknown reason any longer. Please issue if you must.

After Estarra posted it was illegal to beckon into enemy territory (when it was possible), I was beckoned 3 times by one person before anything was done about it. The first two times, they received warnings. I imagine trying to do this and failing would constitute even less punishment or quite frankly, no punishment at all.

It isn't Magnagora. Telrath used grace one time the way he saw you all using it and was issued by Raizan for it. We don't bother anymore... but I can't speak for Glom or Serenwilde... but all I ever see is Celest doing it so I can only call it like I see it.

I don't want to get into a petty back-and-forth argument, but I'd like to clarify that I was on Celestia under grace, however, there was no reason for me to do anything, as all of Magnagora had long since been in the central room of the pillar fighting the Supernal. I stayed and looked around, got yelled at for grace abuse by a score of individuals who had never seen such a thing before, decided not to agitate the situation, and left - all in no more than a couple of minutes. I think there may have even been a monolith sigil on that spot - not that it's a great idea to teleport into the adjacent room full of 20+ Celestians anyway.

Never have I offered or wished to be used as a teleport target under grace while playing, but I have seen two people do so. It's simply frowned upon. While I generally agree that no one's free of guilt, and find these 'you did it first' and 'but you did it too, so shush' arguments draining and idiotic, this is the one time I have to say no, Magnagora hasn't used graced individuals as teleportation targets.

Anyway, as far as I can tell, this is 'legal' (and isn't really the focus of this thread), but very poor form. I feel sorry for anyone who feels they need to do such things and lose a great deal of respect just to win fights in a MUD, regardless of their organization, because it's in the mindset of the actual player.
