I don't mean to keep complaining here and I love the cubix belive me it's a great artifact. Except this one little thing that has been bugging me, which has been called a cubix Trap. A 2000 credit artifact only to see 10 enemies gang beat you after using it to run away thinking you could be safe. I know it's a means of transportaion rather than running away but it has many uses, and I would like to see that staying safe becomes one of it's primary ones. As a soulotion I would suggest one more and only one , peaced room at the Flurox ,you can still try and chase after the targets when they leave the aera. I want to know thoughts and opnions on other ideas if having to many peaced rooms would affect the games conflict.
Ialie2006-08-22 00:11:51
Heh that is going to be a big no. You are lucky that they now allow you to conglute from the fulcrux. They did not before.
Unknown2006-08-22 00:12:24
No more peaced rooms!
This would mean cubix = perfect escape. There is not one thing you could do. Someone cubixes, they are untouchable.

So you do agressive things to piss people off and cubix out every time and expect no consequence? A cubix is not a get out of crap free card and yes be grateful that you conglute there now.
And because I'm nice: Things you can do to prevent cubix trapping
Scry from the aetherways! If you see people that don't like you much waiting up there don't use it!
Fly then touch cubix so then you end up in the skies in the planar fulcrux and can just fly a direction
If it's really that unpleasant to you stop making yourself a target EX: Ialie never has any problems with traps

It is not an escape device. Unless no one else around has a cubix.

touch cubix;d;n is a perfect escape unless there's someone waiting for you in the cubix room, right? Or is it another down to get to Avechna?
EDIT: I mean, even if someone you were fighting had a cubix too, since they couldn't hinder you fast enough after you cubixed away before you made it to the Peak.
Unknown2006-08-22 01:05:41
It's two down, yeah.

yeah, except for two things
blocking rooms, being able to stone wall them as well., putting up demenses, half the time you'll most likely be able to run there but half the time they are quicker on the draw.
Acrune2006-08-22 01:14:05
Mmm, barrier
Cubixes don't need to be better, sheesh. Conglut, lose half a percent, and move on

There's something called tumble that goes through blocking and stonewall should try it sometime

I agree that barrier is kind of lame. However like it was said, it should not be a get out of jail free card. IMO, cubix needs more restriction on it's uses. Perhaps as a trade off, they could make the cubix rooms visible on who from prime.
The wings in Imperian, they required you to FLY first, then say the magic words totally unhindered and on balance/equilibrium. And to fly in the first place took balance/equilibrium and required you to be unhindered. Your attacker consequently had time to tentacle you down before you got away. Also Idras had a skill called CLING, that was a passive ability that when activated would prevent the target from flying by grabbing on to their legs and pulling them down if they attempted too.

this ability you mention of "Tumble" I use all the time, it's the amount of time geting to that place and tumbling doesn't always work, intercepted by being webbed,or other things.
Diamondais2006-08-22 01:23:17
Thought tunble went through web?

there are some things that hinder the user while trying to cubix out, if your not of a stable mind it won't work ,you would have to find a safe location and then cubix out. but if they had people already there is what im trying to say setup as a cubix trap ,then boom you lose.and that isn't worth 2000 credits
however I like this idea of having the flurox visable, it doesn't hurt the cubix to much, and helps to know when you'll be cubix traped.
Forren2006-08-22 01:25:49
If you suspect there might be a trap, get a target on an adjacent plane. If you find yourself at the fulcrux when a trap is going on and they have a telekinetic barrier, sip anatine and gust yourself if there is an open path. If they have walls, use disruption on the mage and tumble the heck out of there.

Maybe cubix use could be delayed? Or alternatively, it would be really cool if it opened a doorway that remained for a few seconds, so others could follow you through.
Dysolis2006-08-22 01:33:45
just follow the person with the cubix

Bah! You still trying to slip in that suggestion that allows others to benefit from a person's Cubix without his/her permission or knowledge.
