Since we have genderbending, I think it would be really nifty if dramatics could give you the option to alter your age for a powercost. However, in line with that, I'd like to see both this possible "aging" skill, as well as Genderbending, also last for a similar ammount of time as Changeself, as in, not going away when you log off. (if Changeself can change race for no power and last that long, I don't think its unreasonable that Genderbend could also have the same length. As well as this skill )

Genderbending has to go away when you log off though the way it works right now, since when you log off or die you lose you "performance mode" defence. When you turn off performance mode, you stop all performances, including genderbending.

Easily solved. Either let you need Performance on to put it up, but not to keep it up. Since it costs power, you could argue it being self-sustaining. And it wearing off when that reserve finally wears out.

Well, permformance mode is constant mana drain - I thought that was intended to be required for genderbending and stuff, because you have to maintain the magic

I'd pay an extra 1-2 power to let it last through death or logging off. I would that that would be enough to create a reserve power source for the magic to feed off of

As long as it is within certain limits, this could be ok. I'd be a little worried about people claiming to be newbies (honors - oh, age 16), or claiming to be more experienced than they are (I don't need to go through novicehood, I was in my old guild for 15 years!). But those are minor issues.

Just have it require performance mode like everything else. You need to maintain it to convince people you're the opposite gender, there's a lot more to it than appearance.

Except when you're dead or offline. Then it has nothing to do with acting. Hell, just let performance mode last through death and logging off. You'd lose more mana when praying if you kept it on, and it would just start draining as soon as you logged on.
