Some of you may know I'm workin on a mud, some of you may just now have found out. For a while its just been me writing and thinking about how I want it to run, but I've finally set up a forum for myself and my coders. It has a public session much like the Ilyrias one a lot of you visit and therefore I am inviting all of you to sign up and comment. No information on the game has been posted beyond whats on the main blog so far, but after I'm finished with finals I'll be correcting the situation.

I love the breast scar thing not because it shows the game's customizable nature but because they were daring enough to do it in the first place. I mean, the female characters in games, MMO's especially, are always half-naked, statuesque, flawless beauties with heaving breasts. Cool to see them show that there are consequences for wearing armour that only covers 1/20 of your body.

Warhammer Online looks like its going to kickass.
But, I disagree with the statement that MMO's don't have the capability to be fully customizable. They simply don't want to be.
Look at Tiger Woods golf games. You can completely create your character. (was just the first example that popped into my head), or look at Spores, where you can fully develop a creature.
There is no reason why they couldn't give you a 'scarring tool' to create scars, or any other sort of tool to give characters textures in any place they wanted. Its been done in numerous games, and there's no reason it can't be done in an MMO, which, in my opinion, is the place where it should really be.
