The other problem with nymph is shields. If they nymph stops something after it puts up shield, you'd better have nullify. If not, then you have to sit there and wait for them to wake up. I think, at least.

Yeah, dancers with nymphs need nullify, but nymph is 808 lessons, and nullify is only 16 tongue.gif

It's still a lot more useful to know it before hand. Then you don't have to run back to Serenwilde and learn it, then go back and kill the annoying thing, only to find out it's dead.

You can get magical sulfur for nullify, and magical salt for circle. Just ask an alchemist, and the syntax is SPRINKLE SULFUR AT (tar).

Dancers are niftier but you'll need credits to pull it off.

*point me*

Yeah, I had old Astral for a bit, but I did get all my credits IG (which is annoying when you're saving up for an artifact glare.gif). Like Ashteru said, it's entirely possible, but takes more effort now.

And getting the athame isn't actually a damage upgrade. Your damage is based partially on how high your Nature/Wicca skill is so the damge goes up a bit when you get the skill. If you're an Elfen, your damage goes up even more because you become a High Elfen with better stats.

Oh, and as for Nullify, sometimes you can use an aggressive emote on the creature like SLAP or THWAP and they'll "give a blood-curdling scream" which means they're aggressive again.

I've never bought credits before...but I've been fortunate enough to get donations. If you're willing to invest time you could make do quite well.
