Speaking of pre-mastered skills, wiccas and druids have the exact same skills. There is no diversity among the skills, unlike in cities where you get Elementalism and Cosmic, and Illusion and Rituals. All we get in communes are Nature and Totems. This means that we have half the utility as a commune as a whole, compared to cities.

I keep needing to point this out it seems... I am not proposing one room only demesnes. I am talk a grove which is SEPERATE from the demesne and its powers. You have a grove (No combat related skills here, just stuff like storage, eyes, fun little utitlities groves had...) and then demesnes which are left the same as they are now.

following that anology it would make sense to give mages a single room but more powerfull demense (besides cities have less room for mages to work in that druids have in forests) and to give druids what they have.

But that would really mess up balanc issues.

That's not an analogy, Daganev, that's just a statement of fact. Wiccans have many ents, Guardians have one. I don't neccessarily want the same thing implemented for Druids and Mages, just the same idea, that being that they do the same thing, but in a different way.

Isn't everyone ignoring how vastly superior totems is to the novice illusion skills?

It's a skill in nature that lets you bend down to thank those small little squirrels on the ground for their help. Without bending and constant exercise all nature followers get cramps that throw them off-balance. geez, everyone knows about the nature bend skill... tongue.gif
