I've looked around and tried a bunch of different clients, but can't find one that works well with Lusternia. Are there any other apple computer users that can recommend one for me?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAH!

No.

Well, maybe.

I think the IRE website has a page that shows clients for different types of computers.

I tried those already, the only one for apple is Rapscilion, and it only works on an older operating system.

Atlantis for OS X 3.9 and up. Someone posted it somewhere in this section... but even if you google'd 'atlantis mac client' you should see it.

Yep, atlantis all the way.

Oh, and try and make sure there aren't already threads for your topic before posting, or you will get yelled at after a while. A lot.

Thanks a lot, this has been bugging me for a while

and I looked for a similar topic but couldn't find any. It probably was my impatience though.

Yes, it does. There's a few of us out there, but the difficulty seems to be the steep learning curve. You should have a solid understanding of the basics of programing and scripting, and be willing to read through a lot of documentation.

(Atlantis developer here!)

There's an interim (not-a-real-release) build of Atlantis 0.9.5 up, which I think may work better speed-wise with MCCP-based MUDs like Lusternia. I've been trying to find a couple folks to give it a shot to see if it improves performance for them. I haven't found many MCCP MUD-users to test that build, and I remembered Lusternia, so popped over here to check if anyone wants to give it a shot.

If anyone wants to try it, there's a .zip up at http://www.noderunner.net/~sparks/temp/Atlantis.zip (just unzip, copy Atlantis.app into Applications or whatever). Sorry it's not a full disc image .DMG release, but it's set up so that when the real 0.9.5 comes out, it'll still pick up real-0.9.5 for auto-update.

Trying it now, Sparks.
