How do I manage to not be there but Vix is?
Seriously though, I like to think I had a slight impact on the developing guild, Ibby and Skyla used to run things by me quite a bit

I don't know anything about this and I want to change that. Details?
Gosh, I hope other people remember, because I don't remember much more. Except, I am pretty sure marcalo was one of those involved in the killing, so maybe he can tell you.
Mostly I remember how it affected Gwylifar. He was an unknown at the time, I was keeping a low profile. He was very dissatisfied with how it was handled, and how it fit into the Serenguard's putative purpose as he saw it. He actually tried to find a way (privately, with Lisaera) that he could quit Serenguard and serve as a guard for the Moondancers without giving up his skills, but codewise that proved untenable, and so no one even found out he was considering it. This is what set him off to trying to figure out the Serenguard's history to find its founding purpose. (Pity the answer, when it came, ignored most the clues I found, contradicting many of them. I still like my story a lot better.)

Hmm, if I recall correctly - which is rather unlikely - the whole problem was that for some reason the Moondancer in question (and I'd forgotten it was Munsia) had left the commune but remained in the guild. The couple of guard apparently thought this meant the laws against hurting allies didn't apply to her, and even though she hid in the guildhall they eventually got her.
I don't remember what the reason was, but the fallout was pretty heavy. And you're right Gwylifar... the repurcussions are still there, though I'd never thought about it like that.

Probably because I blundered. That's not a good thing.

Nejii: I added you to the list last night, along with some others, but I ahven't uploaded the new one. I'm at work so it will have to wait till later tonight.
Regarding Munsia: I have a fair rundown of how it panned out now, and how the Serenguard leadership of the time handled it and also how the Moondancers reacted to it. I'll lay it all out soon.

Forget work, come and tell what happened. It sounds very interesting!

I said I had a fair rundown . I want to clarify some things first though.
Gwylifar, if it's possible to get Brylle in contact with me that would be really useful!

Wow, we were JUST wondering why we had a law pertaining to people in the guilds but not the commune the other day. THAT probably had something to do with it.
Unknown2006-08-31 02:44:31
It did, if memory serves. That and a few other incidents. But yes, Munsia was a bit of a handful for a long time.

I've passed word on to pof-Brylle.

Thanks, I'll email her soonish.
I've not forgotten/dropped this project, it's just a little delayed over the next week while I prepare the following for uni:
A 40 minute presentation on "future figures: the cyborg"
A roleplay as a government official witnessing the Sati ritual/tradition
A short essay on...something I've forgotten (1,500 words)
A short response to a class facilitation
A critical discussion paper.
... why do I let myself get so behind on work.

Just giving the thread a (do we have a bump emoticon?). I'm still working on this, but it took a backseat while I did some uni assignments.

No, doesn't exist. It's a figment of your overworked mind.
