A friend showed me this link earlier today, it's an online java applet for the game 'Alter Ego', which basically lets you live out an entire life, from birth to death. Some of you may remember it from the days of the Commodore 64 and DOS.

- Died of heart attack while playing on a senior-citizen's baseball league as a 66-year old man.

- Died of old age, in my sleep. (Good end of game)

I got tortured and killed trying to run away from someone.

I died walking to the store. It was a very beautiful day and I was peaceful, my only regrets were I didnt get to say good bye to my family and friends. Was in my late adulthood.

That was fun.

Kidnapped while a kid. Why oh why did I have to die young?

died as a baby... then as a kid.. then suicided as a teen... then decided to think about why do I like to see people suffer

Ate the stuff in the pantry, didnt ya.

I walked that baby into his own doom

I got captured by a kidnapper... Later I became a lawer.. and went through like.. -every- single relationship. Also, random events kept happening that were bad.

I kept reminding my partners of their mamas...

This happened while I was a kid:

It made me laugh reallly hard.

I've also licked a dog. I thought it was a furry man, it started licking me so I licked back.

Apparently it was funny enough for Gelo to mention three times.

OMG my best friend just jumped off the roof and died

Well I'm comming to realization that no matter how hard I try my person is hetero.

The warnings about sexual content crack me up.

And even though I've always acted calm, My explosive attitude ruined my familys day.

Now as far as the game is concerned...

That pissed me off more than anything else in the game, even the large amount of death-traps.

Yes, I was wondering if I could and so showed no interest in females and then I get messages like "an ex-girlfriend" "while making out with a girl" etc.

I died of old age, and the only stat below 50 was gentleness!

Did anybody try having an affair?

That was horrible. My mom died of cancer, my dad died of heart failure, my long-time girlfriend left me, my fiance ditched me at the altar on our wedding day and the stupid eighteen year old girl just used me for sex. Yes I was ridiculously successful in business and the community but c'mon, that's harsh. I died in my sleep pleasantly enough but very alone.

Well I had one daughter with a girl who later left me at the altar, the daughter got married. My mother died from cancer, I had two more daughters with my wife.

Eventually I died peacefully
