POWERSIGHT: See how much power is inside a node or nexus. Any node, like the hallifax ones and the astral ones.

The Halli/Guadi nuts would love that one.

An ability or place where you can hear everything that is said (SAY) in Lusternia. There was apparently something like this on Achaea.
Verithrax2006-09-04 01:29:45
You mean an affliction, right?

It wasn't everything, it was random things, otherwise you'd be rather spammed. Hours of fun, that.

Angel Mindread? It only read other people's tells if they are in the same room as you. Nice for interviews because you can easily intercept people trying to ask questions from others. tongue.gif

RELAX INSOMNIA: Willingly bring down insomnia so you can goto sleep...

He's thinking of the Universal Membrane, I think. As far as we can tell, the listening part moves from room to room, and if any tells or says take place while it's in that room, you hear them at the Universal Membrane as either a male or female voice.

"Floating" - With this skill, you are able to relax enough in watery environments to sleep comfortably.

"SteadyWing" - Allows your wings to relax into a subconcious routine, letting you sleep while airborne.

Seen birds float in water and sleep...

Never seen birds fly and sleep...

Have seen them fly into buildings...

I like the marriage skillset idea. I think Ragnarok has something like that, don't they?
Unknown2006-09-04 21:58:48
a Marriage skillset would be awesome. Have it raise based on time online at the same time as your spouse (so that you actually have to deal with them to some extent tongue.gif) and just some nifty abilities, like being able to have a MINDREAD type ability, the one artifact earring from Achaea ability, stuff like that would be very fun.
Richter2006-09-04 22:01:29
Nah, have it total marriage time, and only have it go up if both characters are active.

The abilities are useless if your partner isn't online at the same time as you anyway...so its fitting that you'd have to be online at the same time to get them. You have to be around people a lot to develop those sort of powers tongue.gif

None of those exist in real life either... I was just pointing out that it makes no sense to be able to sleep and fly. Flying just requires to much work.
Vix2006-09-04 22:13:13
Might make sense for flying mounts more.
Verithrax2006-09-04 22:18:54
Right... 'cause a pegasus in mid-flight is really comfortable.
Vix2006-09-04 22:20:33
Yup! *snuggle horsie*

RO did have a marriage skillset, but required both people to be in the same party. One skill was really powerful in the right situation - the ability to give SP (mana) to someone else. One class had an ability that did absurd amounts of damage based on your current SP, but drained your SP entirely and prevented SP recovery for a long time. Having a husband/wife to give you full SP so you can do it twice in a row for free was really nice. Otherwise, you had to spend tons on SP recovering items, which were really expensive.

They also had kids in that game, where you nerf yourself horrendously, but get a cute chibi sprite (gods, the cuteness in that game made my eyes bleed x_x) and some skills you can use on your parents. One of them was "Mommy! Daddy! Nooooo!" which gave your parents a short buff that prevented them from losing experience if they died with the buff on, but the kid had to be close by and alive for it to work. This was actually amusingly awesome in the really deadly endgame dungeons if you could get the kid in there, especially if the kid never upgraded from the newbie class, which gets the feign death skill that makes him invincible biggrin.gif

Sorry, that was offtopic.gif
