The ability to use SAY while underground.
Abethor2006-09-08 02:05:27
Somebody probably said this but how about a non-Athletics Sprinting skill.
And maybe a skill to resist NATURAL currents, but not the concentrated effects of an Aquamancer demesne.

Oooh! The ability to SHOVE npcs out of the trees Get those guards back on the ground, and denizens like Ladies and Daughters. If they're aggressive on you, they'll just climb back up.
Won't shoving them count as an agressive action though?

This shove'd be special..would allow us to bring guards and Ladies down out of the trees without Divine help.

It's not, hence why I said "Why not allow..."
I envoy it and post about it on the envoy board somewhat frequently, though!

I thought that works. Or it did near the beginning. Maybe it got changed when they changed burrowing.

Oh, maybe it does.. I haven't burrrowed for a long while. It was just something that I thought about.
Unknown2006-09-08 04:33:22
Um, pretty sure you can't do anything underground except burrow and possibly some other things, but says, tells and such not possible I think.

That's what I thought.. so I thought it might be nice to be able to use says.
How about something that lets you EXCAVATE an underground location, creating an actual room underground, into which you could then summon people/be summoned out of. And if two rooms next to eachother were excavated, they would be linked... so you could like build a fun tunnel system or something. And the rooms will collapse in on themselves after, say, an hour? Dealing massive damage/concussion to anyone caught inside.

CALL FOR HELP them down...

Things you can do underground:
-burrow
-drop things
-get things

CALL FOR HELP them down...
Last time I tried both of these, neither one worked. Calling for help moves them to your room, not your level in that room. Nor did ordering them to move into a room with no trees make them fall down to ground level, they were just hovering up on a nonexistant tree level (yay for dryad so I could move the silly hag back without pestering a druid ).

I'm too late and have missed the debate about REM sleep and such but I'm startled that our need for it is in question at all.
