So, I finally got my own copy of Guild Wars. Game of the Year Edition, too.
I start it up, install, and enter my Access Keycard.
The 'Cancel' and 'Next' buttons go grey, as do the letters. The background still moves, the music still plays. I wait awhile, thinking it's verifying the CD key. I try and exit, the computer crashes. Help?

Edit: Black? Grey. Nyah.

Try downloading the patches.
All I ever need to log in is my username and password after I download the program onto any computer.

And where do I get those? :/
When I first open GW, I try and create a new account. Then it asks for the access key, and that's where it crashes. :/

I've never heard of that problem
I don't know what to tell you except to check the customer support webpage. Make sure your graphics card is supported.

ATI Radeon 9550. Better than recommended.

Make sure your firewall is blocking the program and all that jazz.

Create the account on NGsoft's web page first... creating the accout ingame is bugged, always has been. Was bugged in beta... none of us could figure out why. Happens about 1 out a 1000 tries..
