I was thinking more about "So and so gags as the weapon strikes him/her", because you can't really notice that a layer of poison is gone when you have 40 of them on your weapon.

The generic message suggestion would had simpler to implement for the admins since they will not need to write up multiple messages for many of the poisons. Frankly, as long as this gets implemented it doesn't matter.
I reckon making such messages shouldn't take all that long...
Rather easy, to be honest.
And it's not like there's a 100 different poisons in Lusty...
