This is all done with Xara Xtreme for Linux 0.7. It's a sort of concept for a possible customization of Verithrax' staff.

Isn't the spider symbol Viravain trademarked?

Verithrax has an unhealthy obssession with spiders (No, really!) and thinks Viravain isn't worthy, at any rate.

Viravain = spiderman, because in Glomdoring people's point of view, Viravain saved the forest.
Verithrax = Venom, afflicting mental maladies in everyone in the forums.

But Spiderman is hated and feared by the very people he saves. It's the opposite with Viravain, who is loved and worshipped by the very people she screws with.

That's what I remember from the comics and TV series - You must be watching the Ultimate thingy.

I never saw as the people who he saves as hating him, just the newspaper, and people not yet saved by him.

So in a sense, people touched by viravain loves her, but those thay Viravain hasnt touched yet frowns upon her. So there. Viravain = Spiderman. Verithrax = Venom
