BUT if you want to have a lot of RP and be able to fight when you want, I'd say join Glom. I've never made an alt there, but I hear a lot of good things for their newbies-but you won't fight very often except for by yourself if you wanna take things into your own hands and do solo stuff-but don't expect much help from the commune. Not because they suck, but because they have fun more with other stuff, if I understand correctly.

I'm sorry, but I'll have to say...no.

Yes, we have nice RP. We are nice to novices, and contrary to belief, Shadowdancers are nice to their novices. We don't fight very often as a commune.

You do have a bit wrong though. If you want to take things into your own hands, then you're in the wrong organisation, because Glomdoring is all about the Forest, not the individual. Don't expect for help if you plan to do things for personal interests.

Wooo Disclaimer: And for your information, that was in-game feelings. Of course, as a player, I care and feel for the fellow players in the commune.

There is RP everywhere you look, you just have to find it. For example, the Serenguard RP had grown significantly since I started playing. And where no RP exists, start your own!

It's been summed up pretty well, but I will stress that things are in constant flux. As you said, Magnagora was strongest last you left and will likely be back up there again one day. Glomdoring will also get a turn, sooner or later (hey, it has to happen eventually!). If you want an immediate sort of situation, that's fine, but be prepared for the shift and get ready to move your character along with it or jump ship to whichever place suits you best.

Well, I'm leaning toward Glormdoring. Sounds like its easy to strike up some RP there, sounds like they need more people, and if that ever changes and they become an unquestionably powerful and dominating org I can say, "Hey, I've been here since we sucked."

I love the volume of response I've gotten, here.

Glom's a great place to start right now, IMO, since they aren't involved in the war at all. Also, Serens no longer murder them regularly, since Munsrim is gone from Serenwilde, and the rest of us aren't about to start hostilities to an uninvolved party while in the middle of a war (unlike some other orgs out there).

Glomdoring is a good choice! I feel compelled to warn you that if you plan on playing an individualistic character or doing your own thing, it might not be - Glom is all about the forest. But hey, if you'd rather go with the mage apprentice thing, I need more apprentices to mistreat.
