Former ‘10th planet’ officially named Eris

As a Discordian, this makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

It's wrong! All the other planets are named after Roman gods and now they've decided on a Greek name? It's just not right. I don't mind that it _is_ Eris, it's just the Roman name for her would fit properly, unless I guess it's for the whole 'chaos' thing and it's 'weird' to have a Greek among the Romans, but that doesn't seem to be what it's about.

I think it's nice having Eris as the odd one out. But you can call it Discordia if you wish.

This just proves Lusternia is the best IRE game. I don't see any planets named Sarapis.

Love the name they gave to her moon, Dysnomia.

Oh, and there's a precedent for it - Celestial bodies have been named, in the past, after Roman, Greek, Native American, Egiptian, Norse, and even Irish pagan deities.
