There's actually a different message given when you've been twirled and tried to leave a room through rubble that says something to the effect that you can't move that way. Can't connect from work, but maybe someone else could dig it up. In any case, doesn't sound like a bug to me, basically turns rubble into stonewalls for someone who gets twirled, you can still tumble/roll, maybe leap to get past it.

Not sure what happens if you get twirled while scrambling over the rubble, haven't tried that one yet.

I suggested the skill when all the envoys were brainstorming to come up with something for twirl to do instead of break a limb. I'm pretty sure.

That doesn't mean the idea wasn't tweaked a bit during implementation...

Which is also ignoring the fact that we had a 20-minute discussion where I was saying that I'd only agree with it if the bug that rubble+other things (like Gravity) that stopped movement completely didn't occur with this, and Estarra saying that it shouldn't be working that way.

So, if it shouldn't be working that way, it's known as a "bug".

i think its a good skill as when you have a geo minblasting plus 2 afflictions plus all demense and upto 2k passive damage as well not being able to move except via tumble hurts a hell of a lot

Well, except that you have about 4 seconds to cleanse after you get hit. And I'd love to know where you get the 2k passive damage from.

So if it doesn't stack with rubble, what's the point of the skill? Only thing I can see it being used for is to slow down people running away when you jump them outside of your demesne. At least with the old one, you could break their arms/legs to stop most of their attacks as well as slow them down, which could at least work incombination with a full demesne.

i get the 2k passive damage from all the geos ive fought recently, one for exalmple staffed me for 2k and there demense hit me for 2k not including stun plus all other afflicts ie they kill me in 2 staffs if i stay in the demense/room

Can you provide a log of that? I'd really like to see why I do 500 to Stangmar and others to 2k to you. Except if you have like...four times as much health.
