Over the course of my many characters, I've noticed that the Nexus keeper sometimes bops in on CT conversations. It's rare but weird, but cool. I the divine and their nutiness.

Like the time Miakoda popped in and called Rowena ugly.

Too bad she can't back it up, Penumbra makes Rowena beautiful.

Even if she is an ugly old hag, personality-wise.

The one I remember was with one my now suicided mag characters, there was a CT discussion about Celest, and Ardrak popped in and started dissing Celest.

Actually, when you do the one quest and Mother Night speaks through Rowena, the Penubra fades and you see her true self, which is a shriveled undead hag

I reaaaaally doubt Miakoda ever did the quest to see Rowena that way...

And it doesn't exist any more.

But its likely that Miakoda can see through Penumbra.. given that she's the living avatar of a nexus and directly linked to Moon.

Rowena also transforms into a hag upon her death, I believe. So if you're feeling lucky... *waggle*

Rowena doesn't die. She just fades into the shadows.

You don't even get enemied for making her run.

You can still kill her, I believe. She ALWAYS used to run. You just have to put a bit more effort into it.

No, she doesn't "run run". She has a room emote, yells to the Glomdoring "Mother Night Save Me" (she doesn't cry out when attacked), and *vanishes completely*. No more Rowena for 4 hours, no enemy status, she's gone... just no corpse.

I've never seen her actually dead, just fled.

As I said on the IRC, I'm 99% sure she can be killed, pretty sure I did it in a large group once. We then went on to gank the Ebonglom wyrm. Some Celestians and Seren were there, maybe one of them has a better memory than me.

Maybe she used to be killable and they changed it, because I remember being part of a team that killed her once, too.

I don't think Rowena is killable anymore, which is good. No Rowena = no novice Shadowdancer teacher. Novices can't get in to see Dominique.

What about that spider skeleton? The one that's ID number is 777.
