The aslaran and Lobo look like monks to me.
However, about the Trill.... Those floating crystals arn't runes or hexaura?
Nope. Celestines don't get hexes or runes, so its still not a Celestine. And runes are etched on marble, and hexes are glowing glyphs... Estarra specifically called those crystals, if I recall.
Shiri2006-09-17 04:44:58
I was thinking about the faeling, no wonder I got confused Nevermind me.
And I'm pretty sure Estarra said the trill isn't any class we have.

I could say Mugwump could be either.
Nihilists don't have cauldrons. Shadowdancers do.
Unknown2006-09-17 08:31:23
I thought the Loboshigaru looks like he's holding a cudgel. And I've always thought that what he was wearing looks like a pocketbelt.
And is the Viscanti a Nihilist, or a creepy Pyromancer? Although I wouldn't go so far as to call that tiny thing in her hand a staff...
It looks like a scroll, but are there any scrolls that need to be wielded?

There are Magic Tomes that kind of function as all 4 scrolls in one?
Doesn't even remotely look like one of those though
Perhaps, for the sake of RP, one may assume you need to hold a scroll in your hand before actually being able to read it?

She's a Nihilist.

1) Because in Nexus, it calls her a "guardian"
2) If it was a pyromancer, it would have to be set into the future, as there were no viscanti before Hallifax and Gaudiguch were lost.
3) The only thing in that picture that looks in any way fiery is the wierd demonic face thing in here hand, and that doesn't look much like fire either. What is that thing BTW?
Shorlen2006-09-18 20:36:01
The Dracnari is clearly a Pyromancer.
The Trill is clearly a Guardian of Hallifax (What were they called again?)
The Furrikin looks to me like a Warrior, possibly a Honeyguard.
I always thought the Lobo was a Geomancer - that staff doesnt' look like a cudgel to me.
I'm wondering if the Hallifax Maxtrix will act as a Master Crystal, and if the Hallifax Guardians will get some version of Crystallism Or maybe the Magi will instead of Illusions...

I've always concidered that to be CosmicFire, Nil-style.

That is NOT what cosmicfire looks like. I've seen the messages for both guilds.
Daganev2006-09-18 21:32:20
We have 2 pictures of people wearing leather armor (furrikin and aslaran) I think thats the new archtype.
Unknown2006-09-18 21:38:21
The Aslaran's armour doesn't look like leather to me. It looks like metal plates sort of staggered together for flexibility, and a metal bracer.

And the Geomancer's staff doesn't look like a Twisted Staff, and the Pyromancer is wearing armor. I'm just saying.
Shorlen2006-09-18 21:56:16
Umm, any class can wear leather armor. It just sucks.

As others said it says Guardian in Nexus, also Estarra said it was a Nihilist when the picture was released.

Guess we'll just have to wait till they come out?
And yes, the Dracnari is most definatly a pyromancer with her glowing firey orb staff thing, which implies that the dracnari might get the spiffy race buff thing for Gaudiguch, (like Viscanti for Mag, Merian for Celest and so on and so forth)

Honeyguard? Ackleberry's Warriors, I suppose? (Never really looked into Ackleberry *blush*)

I highly doubt the spiffy buff thingy could go to anyone other then the Dracnari... I mean, come on! They're Dracnari, it's Gaudiguch. Need I say more?

HOW COULD A FREAKY DEMONIC THING WITH PURPLE SHADOWS AND AN EVIL SOUL-THING IN HER HAND BE A WARRIOR OF A PLACE THAT BROKE ITSELF OFF FROM REALITY TO GET AWAY FROM ALL THE FREAKY DEMONIC THINGS?!?! *pant*
