If it took you 10-18 reality checks in an urban environment to clear terrain THEN BY GOD LETS DO IT NOW! Absolutely RIGHT NOW!. I can definately deal with Geomancers.
Are we still quoting out of date things, Narsrim? Or maybe you're referring to the kind of sapling that doesn't really exist to protect a demesne. Either way, the showboating style of argumentation doesn't really produce results or support.

I'd be all for them seperating the demesne protecting aspects of Sapling from the other aspects of the skill, in order to balance it better.

I actually don't mind it. It gives a different flavor to fighting druids and mages. Now, if you're talking about nerfing natural forest saplings...just as soon as every statue requires an enchanter to be bonded to it, and only one statue per enchanter.

I'm guessing in your haste to post, you didn't even read mine because I wasn't trying to argue for Ethereal Serenwilde or Ethereal Glomdoring to be melded. I actually prefer them as they are, which I believe is the stance you have taken. I personally find your attempts to argue "against" me when we share a similar point quite foolish.
Ironically, if you read MY post, I was arguing for a nerf to druids or a boost to magi, stating that the current state of things seemed imbalancd to me. I was also stating though the balance concerns to take into account when nerfing druids or empowering magi.
I was completely unaware that dryad trees allowed sap and thornrend. Thornrend isn't even intuitive, since the skill clearly talks about how if they leave the forest, they're cured of all vines.
