"Life begins at sixteen."

"I believe in Faelings."

"Back off, I use Vengeance."

"Fain hates you."

"Don't honk unless your horn kills."
(pic of antlers)

"I'm not a Mes'ard! Marry me!"

"Newbies on Board."

"I was probed by Gnomes."
Saran2006-09-22 11:53:32
"We are the Mes'ard. Resistance is futile. You will be adopted." or a version with Married

Or how about this?
'We are the Mes'ard. Resistance is futile. You will be one of us.'

I took the chance there. Don't wanna be seen as a Mes'ard. I'm a warrior, not one of Kiarlea's family. No peace for me, hexes all the way!
Nementh2006-09-22 20:18:24
"Cut me off only if you want to make the Merian Noise."

"Save a chicken, eat a trll."

"Save a fish, eat a merian."

"Save a cow, eat taurin."

Just so you know... Wyrd is old english and it's pronounced wierd... (Right..?)

What a wyrd wyrd.

...okay, maybe that wasn't funny. Just make sure to use both pronounciations when reading that. >.>

I was wondering when somebody would say this....biggrin.gif
Except I don't think that it is in the same context in Lusternia. Wyrd in old english was like their belief in fate and destiny.

I'm pretty sure the norse fates (Norns) guard the well of Urd... But I'd have to check my book o' Mythologies.

I'll get back to you on that during the weekend when I can check my book.

I was aware of the correct pronunciation, but the general populace would possibly not be. It is still close enough that I would consider it a "loose" homonym, especially considering that we are discussing ideas for bumper stickers, which often use similar devices.

True enough. Up until I learned about the proper pronunciation, I pronounced it 'wurd', so I'll bet that most people do.

"Wyrd: I can't believe it's not Taint!"
Abethor2006-10-01 18:03:14
"Oh yeah? Well my car can waterwalk!"
