On topic though, I do wish that enemy status meant something more... meaning, was something you couldn't just throw around trivially. "OMG! HE LOOKED AT ME FUNNY! ENEMY HIM TO THE (city/commune/guild/order/clan/ponies) RIGHT NOW!" is the norm, and it's really dumb All orgs do it, I know, I just... wish it was something that either cost the org something to do, or that they only had so many people they could declare enemies, or that there were different levels of enemyness, and the lower levels faded with time, or something.

It'd also be nice if when you enemied someone, it messaged them with the reason, the fine, and recorded the reason somewhere, and allowed you to make someone a temporary enemy that faded at a given time.

mine was kinda funny. Serenwilde, for having started questioning the war then having wormed out a high ranking serenguard members opinion of the war and all that (it's posted on the public news board somewhere) that was against the rest of the commune. Though I was kicked out for being in a clan started by Exarius. They then enemied me, after having done a communequest that got them some more power, because I was chatting as civilally as I could and tuek came in, didn't like where it was going. And told me to leave. I had waited for a reply to asking what about Eldisia's relationship with Jethskarn, if they would let her still see me. Needless to say they didn't answer and enemied me.

A bit lame and cheap I say.


Nah.. that wouldn't work.. because then the org willn't get that huge amount of money that the normal fine is. if you've payed one you know the amount, if not.. 10k is the base amount I hear.

right at the beginning of lusternia (i was about level 12) brona randomly came and killed me and i asked why and got enemied to mag...

serenwilde- saved another page from a pixie that he had attacked got enemied to serenwilde and killed, the one who had it attacked it originally got away with nothing

(Gah dont remember if I already posted this or if I was just chatting with munsia about it a while ago)

First enemy status was to Serenwilde, Circle 20. For feeding berries to those estelbar farmers. I walked out with 5 and someone tattled on me. Munsia asked me if I had just taken some farmers and I said, umm yes ma'am, I was just doing this little thing the other town asked. (Hell I didnt know it was wrong) and she said ok thanks ... BAM - ENEMIED...

Magnagora: Can't remember what I was doing at the time, but the Mags were randomly summoning Celest citizens to the megalith and laughing as the guards killed them.

I was summoned, but not enemied. So I just ran to the nearest shop, shut the door, magelocked it, and teleported out.

I was promptly enemied after that.

We kept having this problem with the Ur'guard, 'cause they apparently had it as a good idea in a novice helpfile somewhere...

Typhus- For being a traitor, although the funny part of it was, while the Guild wasn't involved at all, they enemied him none the less... And then, also remember what Visaeris government considered a traitor... Heh, I'm the oldest rogue Geomancer alive! I remember Murphy I think it was trying to track me down from where I demensed the entire Isle and was killing all the spectre to offer to Raezon. I was just burrowing away, popping up, burrowing away again... Heh, back then burrow>warriors.

My first enemying was to Estelbar and Serenwilde.

I entered the village with some other young Gloms (Cairam I think, and some other person) to raid so we could distract Serenwilde from Faethorn/Etherglom. We ran in, all following the leader (Cairam, since she was the highest level among us). She started attacking, clueless me just followed suit. Then about 5-10 seconds later I found myself standing in front of Narsrim and some dude that starts with S. Apparently they'd summoned the leader but we all followed since we were grouped. They mentioned something about that before proceeding to instakill us. I remember the other person in our group made some remark along the lines about us being smashed like cream pies, which may explain why I like pies so much now (for the nostalgia?).

Yes, that was lengthy.

Can an ur'guard please put in the help scroll about enslaving furrikin that they may be enemied to the org that controls Estelbar if they do it..? That's something a novice really should be told

No, it's about that time I tried to take some Seren to distract Forren and group from something by killing some orcs, and not only did said Seren make us waste like 10 minutes by attacking the Estelbar guards ( !!!) before we even got there because they weren't paying attention, but I overestimated their ability to actually get over a statue so we sort of abortively stood at the entrance for 4 minutes trying to keep a couple of them awake long enough to have a maiden help them or OH GOD SOMETHING GIVE ME A BREAK HERE GUYS

I'm about 62 now, and I've kept the enemy status ever since novicehood.


though, if you ask Ashy about it, he'll say he "doesn't recall" that time...
