Amnesia stops the action from happening at all. So it is possible to quickly input two commands to get around it and aeon. That is the method people used to get around slowlocks (which is nothing but a concussion +aeon. It is still hell to deal with, and so slowlocks were very effective in hindering people's healing.

Amnesia is different here. It doesn't blank the next command, as you can diagnose sometimes and see it. Instead it will randomly blank a command somewhere down the line, not immediately.

If it didn't it would have to be removed for being to overpowered. It's quite nasty at the moment anyway, and it also lends itself to helping succumb, as you need to cure it, and curing is slowed... don't cure it? bye bye! I'm not surprised at any rate, anyone who isn't an avid system junkie is going to be seriously disabled in choke(aka, all of those people you went up against when you were raiding)

True, I forgot about the difference. With that difference, amnesia is actually weaker here when combined with aeon. Unless concussions allow for the old style amnesia, I would argue that concussions here in Lust are a good bit weaker than those in other realms too.

I should envoy that amnesia not fire on emotes. It's so goddamn annoying when people spam stupid things like jump because they believe it protects them from amnesia.

At least spam something your opponent can't see if you want to proc amnesia/stupidity patterns/check for aeon. It doesn't look quite as stupid or out of character entirely.

You have it wrong. Most people use jump for another reason. It is as simple as pie to use say or compose for the old style amnesia.

Oh, and you do know it is easy to gag another's action that you do not desire to see? It is not like you need to know when the person jumps or not. I have it gagged, and it does not bother me at all. Just like I have fae gagged; those are far more spammy than a jump once in a while.

Don't most people just turn their systems off in choke? It's a massive pain to code around, and you can manually well enough in choke if you have a clue and some aliases/macros.

One of those Shadowy skills prevents flowing. I've gotten the "you can't do that here because..." messages before.

No, I do not see an issue with it at all. I know exactly when I jump and it is not repeatedly. Also, since you do have it gagged your immersion is not bothered at all, since you don't see it at all. It being OOC and retarded is a matter of opinion. Unfortunately for you, your opinion is no more important than anyone else’s, and matters very little to me on this subject.

Yes, and you can save us all the annoyance of looking at it by using STAND instead. Accomplishes the same thing without using a room emote.

You can also take responsibility for your own annoyances and gag them. You should not expect people to accommodate you, when a simple action on your own can negate the problem. Or do you feel it is easier for you to try to control others, instead of trying to control your own reaction to others?

I will be frank with you, I am not going to change a thing. It would take me far more time to change everything, than it does for you to copy, paste, and gag the line. So unless you get the admin to tell me that I have to stop doing it, you will just have to be bothered by the fact that I am doing it and you had to perform the heinous action of gagging it.
