X-2= Final Fantasy: Charlie's Angels

Heh, I don't play many games so my range of bad-good is a bit off from you people. The battle system seriously sucked though.
Hm, also Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly and possibly every other Spyro game after that. I played the first two and they weren't bad, but all the others seem to suck.

Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly was fine too. Better than the first two. The one after that, though...my brother got it for GC. UGH. How awful.

No, Enter the Dragonfly was worse. Instead of running up and waking a sleeping dragon, you have to chase these evil little dragonflies which are sometimes impossible to catch.
Shiri2006-10-01 01:20:08
Umm.
OH. You're talking about the crappy GC one I was referring to.
I got it confused with Year of the Dragon (the actual third one) 'cause of the way you mentioned "the first two". My mistake.

Okay, A) Chrono Cross, one of the best plotted games, and it isn't the Sequel to Chrono Cross, it's the sequel of Radical Dreamers, a japanese Satelite RPG. Chrono Trigger, god darn cavemen, that was gay, stupid Nu.
Shiri2006-10-01 01:38:15
Man.
Radical dreamers. I tried that once.
Text based games in a language you can't read aren't exactly entertaining.

Silent Hill, for PS 1.
Why? I was so scared that I stopped playing after a few minutes and brought it back to the seller the next day. But I was young!
Resident Evil: Nemesis freaked me out like that. Midnight, with no lights, then you see Nemesis for the first time >.>
Unknown2006-10-01 01:46:48
Learn Japanese, not that hard. It was fun though, I loved Radical Dreamers and it enhanced CC so much.
Gavriel2006-10-01 02:27:52
I had an english version of Radical Dreamers somewhere, but I have no idea where I got it. It was definitely worth playing, even though it was short.
And yes, I was completely serious about Yoshi's Cookies. All I actually remember about the gameplay is lining up cookies so they'd disappear. Anyways, I was pretty young at the time, so it was the source of many bouts of frustration due to lack of actual cookies. Tetris rocked the socks off Yoshi's Cookies, anyway.

It's hard to find a unscrewed up Radical Dreamers and the English code with it now adays.

No way. True, it was boring as hell, but it was well done and kinda cool.

The only puzzle games I could ever stand were The Curse of Monkey Island and Escape From Monkey Island, just because the humor made them worth playing. Myst is just... bleh, wandering around clicking everything in sight until you figure out the solution. The horrid movement interface doesn't help either.

I can understand that... but worst game ever? Nah.

I saw someone mentioned Legends of the Dragoon - which I really liked! The battle system was fairly horrid (the magic, in particular, was sooooo bad), but I kind of liked the story, plus the dragons were really cool.
Silent Hill scared me as well. Especially Silent Hill 4: The Room. It's so creepy!
I have to agree that FFX-2 was awful, and I never even played it! Gorky sent me a link to the intro video of the game on youtube, and I just stared horrified at my monitor for several minutes, unable to tear my eyes away.
I have a love/hate relationship with Final Fantasy 5. On one hand, the class system was pretty cool (I love Tactics!) and the story was interesting. But... the evil villain is a tree! When Kefka is out destroying the world, the Evil Tree-Monster burns down a forest! Oh sweet revenge! Cruel ironies! I like games that are humorous, but come on! How are you supposed to take a sinister talking tree seriously?!
I hate Illusion of Gaia, because it's TOO @#$% HARD!

Alright, you goddamned heathens.
LoD was GREAT. I <3 that game so much it's ridiculous. Chrono Cross was FANTASTIC. Great music, fabulous plot, and smexy replay value.
Final Fantasy X-2 Was... well, exactly what I thought it would be. No, it wasn't a great game, but damned if I didn't play it through all the way - I actually really enjoyed the love-story side that unfolds.
Kingdom Hearts (I and II) own my soul. Those who speak against them speak only blasphemy, and must be smote with vengeance rivaling that of the Gods!
Silent Hill/Resident Evil games are soooo superior to everything. If you've yet to play a Silent Hill, you've never experienced real terror just playing a videogame. The movie, however, did suck. Feel free to hate on that.
You want a crappy game?
Go play The Grinch.
Worst. Game. Ever.

That game was pure evil.. I mean, I remember really loving the premise but I also remember mind-numbing grinding just to level up and then get pwned even worse by those stupid vampires in Mu or wherever. I clearly never got anywhere near to the end, much less did I beat the game. Combined with the fact that there was next to no way to heal yourself except for herbs few and far between... I'm surprised the cartridge is still whole.

I speak only against the nightmare that is Atlantica of KH2! I think VGCats sums it up pretty well:
Forgive my transgressions!
EDIT: Stuff.
Shiri2006-10-03 07:20:08
God I hated Illusions of Gaia.
Think I got stuck in the part where you were in that area that kept going upside down. (Sky gardens or whatever. Been too many years.)
Soulblazer (I think that was it) and Terranigma were MUCH better.
Although I also got stuck on Terranigma 'cause I couldn't be bothered levelling to the ridiculous extent it asked of you, to the point where I had to beat Bloody Mary by attritioning 1hp off of her in diveby attacks for a good 2 hours.

Granted KH1 was decent, but KH2 was ridiculous. No plot, sooooo easy to finish (even in the hardest mode), and the mini games take like 2 minutes to get bored of. If it took you more then 30 hours to get level 99, something is wrong with you
LotD...Most sterytyped game I've ever played. You were never guessing in it, and it was pretty linear. I don't like games that don't offer options. Granted, the cinematics were nice.
Chrono Cross was dissapointing because I was expecting a second Chrono Trigger. I never played Radical Dreamers...not sure why Radical Dreamers wasn't released in Canada/America if it was supposed to be the prelude to Chrono Cross, and have CC make sense. That's just asking for dissapointed fans . Music was good, but I don't like all the impersonal characters that are there for fluff (accents were horribly done too). CT had 7 characters, and it was awesome. Getting 50+ characters like a Suikoden wannabe doesn't add personality to game :/
Unknown2006-10-03 09:11:34
Okay, right now there are some dedicated CC and CT fans making a RD rpg all over again made from the text into visual form. For a plot summary, or story more so, it is a combination between CC and CT, Imagine Guardia Castle as the Viper Manor, that is what it is, so try and place and plot the things onto maps and you will be quite pleased with what you get.
KH2 made me cry, it was so horriable, I was looking forward for a year or so for a awesome game, I bought it, beat it, cried, said it sucked, and burned it in my microwave before throwing the disc in the forest.
X-2 was worth the play if you are a true FF fan like myself.
