Weren't you the guy who, before the war started, said that if war did break out, Celest would get pwned?

Heh. Don't think I've met you yet, but Ix is pretty happy in seren.. more or less.

He does not lack skill. I would not count him as one of the most skillful though. I have fought warriors who easily have more skill, though they do not do as much damage and/or wounds. I've removed both of his arms from him before (just him and me fighting), causing him to run from Limbo with his remaining two limbs. There is no other fighter supposedly rated as top tier that I have done that to.

I'm an old, inactive titan. I'm probably pretty rusty in combat at this point anyway.

A few other notes:
-Ixion was advised/warned, not to fight with enemies and that killing angels wasn't a good idea. He actually stopped raiding celestia for over an IC year back before the war, give or take.
-I've tried to make some measure of Ix's RP as one who pushes the limits and tests the boundaries (mildly similar to Paul Newman in "Cool Hand Luke"). That said, Ix didn't actively push for war. He did what he's always done, and, let things happen on their own. You all really drop my name too much, too. Ialie is more scary.

Heh.. my visits don't really count. There was an earth raid yesterday, and I deffed up just in time to log off for work.

Yes, but even before when you were entirely active, wasn't very long ago... maybe a month tops?

Judging by the recently elected GMS (yourself, Daxera, and Kelly) it seems things are sliding towards more moderate, peaceful solutions (from what I've seen of all the GMs, that is. Don't know quite a few of them.) But Anarias is quite a loud, anti war gm, and Daxera and probably Kelly would prefer peace to war. I was right Serenwilde would suck* once Gregori got in power, and it did!
Wait what? What does the Celest war have to do with Gregori? Gregori has been missing in action for like 10 real life months, almost a year, the war has nothing at all to do with him. Seren was really strong with Gregori's leadership.. Why is Gregori even involved with this conversation?
Unknown2006-10-02 00:56:29
Actually.. Gregori is probably the reason that Seren and Celest didn't go to war sooner. Ibby would have loved to kick Celest a few hundred times

I blame Canada for the Celest Serenwilde war, especially Quebecos.... damn Quebecos... -mutter-

Pfft...Russia's to blame. Canada's only problem is being above the US and speaking french.

Err, I was refering back to when Gregori became... whatever Seren leadership was and the Wilde stopped being what I had always thought it was all those years ago. Was just an example of how you can sorta tell how peopel feel by who is in charge. Thought I had made that clear
@Sarvasti I'm only 15 minutes from Quebec. Leave the French Canadians alone! They kicked ass in the 1600's
Ildaudid2006-10-02 08:33:20
If Celest and Serenwilde buddy up and make friends I will have to move to Serenwilde to try and start the war all over again. I like the war

Actually it is still not clear it is very ambiguous you didn't clearly state what you thought Seren Leadership was before Gregory and what he made it into after.
Before Gregory was Nikua please explain in detail what you mean other than "Serenwilde began sucking".

Ixion I doubt you were on Nexus back then when that happened. You were still raiding as much as you could, and this happened right after you had your spars with Terenas. You even stated to me at the time that Terenas havn't been a challenge to you even when you used those scimitars you tried to use on me.
Oh, you can always accept my challenges once you are back into the swing of things.

If you weren't killing angels and raiding Celestia, you were jumping Celestians all day long. Unenemied Celestians, too.

The favour was for posting in-game and not on the forums. I believe I had messaged him in capital letters that the favour was not meant to either support or oppose the content of his post, but rather I wanted to show support for more discussions taking place in public rather than elsewhere (rather like posting on the war in the forums rather than in-game *cough*). It's ludicrous to suggest that I "took Celest's side" and I'll be happy to zap anyone who says so in-game.
Anyway, I do read public posts so don't be surprised if you get a random favour from me for starting discussions in-game!

I'm tempted to suggest it in game, just so I can get my first divine zapping.

I gotta say, the pointing fingers and assigning blame at this point is ridiculous. There were people on both sides of the conflict who wanted a war and there were plenty of good IC reasons that it broke out. Celest has completely legitimate IC reasons to want to separate themselves from the Serenwilde and to want the Serenwilde to not kill angels, and the Serenwilde has perfectly good IC reasons not to bow to Celest's whim or impose sweeping bans upon their citizenry.
I don't really like the war, OOC'ly or IC'ly. My character, who joined the realms and the Commune right around the start of the war, is tired of being a pincushion for Celestines. Dropping whatever I'm doing to die uselessly in the defense of my commune is frustrating both for the character and the player. At the same time, he would never support any kind of ban, not because he has any desire to kill angels but because it is an extremely out of character law for the Serenwilde to impose.
So, I hope the war ends, but I'm not sure I see any really IC resolution that is readily available to end it. In the same vein, I'm not arrogant enough to say that it was solely anyone's fault, few things are that simple, and I'm pretty sure that this case is no exception.
