I tried to hit Kelly later, out of arena (draw, so I didn't die)... same thing. Then she borrowed me swords and I could hit her. Then I tried again with hammers but it was still missing. Till I reloged and then it was fine. Same as Shinta had yesterday

Yes. It means stance, but this is, in fact, a bug. I've had the same happen to me, targetting every body part randomly, at least 50 swings and not a single one hit.

If you've got a bug to report, please submit a detailed report via the BUG command. Obviously, the more information you can give, the better. Also, if you need to show the admins a log of something, you can host it somewhere and provide a link, or email it to them, etc.
