Need a script written for something or other? I'm bored, and looking for more to do - so let me know, and I'll code for you. Prices tend to be what you're willing to pay for the finished (and working) product, and I'll provide support for the forseeable future with them.

I already have a couple of satisfied customers, including Xavius, so yeah, PM me or otherwise contact me if you need something written.

Hey am I getting a cut of this?
Laysus2006-10-03 13:48:03
Quiet you tongue.gif

I do it myself more often than not tongue.gif

Edit: All work is done by me, just people like Alyss have been known to help me with slight problems with the code >.>

And for any prospective customers, he is actually pretty good at it.

I could use a little snippet of code that site bans anyone who bursts out in a rousing chorus of "Butterfly Kisses". Think you can work that?

In Zmud? If you give me the desired input and the command to site ban, sure.

Nexus scares me, I'll stick with Zmud.
dayan2006-10-03 21:27:32
I code for Nexus, but it is not like ZMUD where you can import scripts so it gets ... complicated.
Richter2006-10-10 20:13:36
This sounds terribly... I dunno, something, but I want a script that easily shows which artifacts I'm carrying, since there's no artifactlist skill.

I know how to do a basic one, but I'm afraid it wasn't very good or pretty.

Requirements:
-I want it arranged in a nice little table that lets you put in the artifact name, the name/number, and what it does.
-Needs to have an easy way of adding information to the table.

So, something like:

CODE

+-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------+
a crown of ascension          crown1234   lv1 h/m/e regen, absorbtion
a mysterious box              box1234     dimensional container
Tetra, the elemental scourge  mace1234    300/300/300 mace, lv1 stat rune
a magic paintbrush            brush1234   2x tins, creates 3x palletes, .5 paint used
+-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------+

I've actually created something like this for myself. I'll post it up for you shortly.
Laysus2006-10-24 14:40:02
Bump. >.

All my customers have been satisfied thus far with what I've made for them - so pay me to code for you!
Laysus2007-02-11 22:49:06
Bumping to say I also do work with CMUD code now :)

(my rates are good, and satisfied customers include Xavius, Richter, and more)

I'll vouch for Laysus being a good coder. We've worked together on a few ideas, and the results are always very nice.

CMUD is more fun to code for than zMUD, but I wouldn't recommend that anyone use CMUD as their primary MUD client juuust yet. Give it another version or two to get some of the remaining bugs worked out of it.

I've uploaded a couple packages to the CMUD package library server, so feel free to download them and have a look (filter on MUD name). Don't blame me if the scripts don't work perfectly, however, as CMUD has done some strange things with the packages I've uploaded on one PC and downloaded on another...
Shryke2007-02-12 03:44:56
Fun, I can't wait for CMUD to come out so I can use my new coding idea to rebuild a tricksy system!
Unknown2007-02-12 12:35:44
Technically, CMUD has been publicly released (as of about December 12, 2006, I think), but Zugg admits he pushed it out the door a bit early and needs to fix/add more yet for it to be a polished piece of software.
