What you did was a great idea Ekard. A wise move, bubble so you have time to setup demesne around me. You doing it isn't the issue at all, the log is pretty self explanatory regarding the lame-factor.

Ild: No you can't get hit by players, but passive afflictions still tick in it i.e. most timed afflictions, crotamine, phantoms, I believe heretic/inf tick too.

Yea and why i died 2 first times there was becose.
First time i learned that i cant bubble when not in my demesne, and you guys killed me.
Second time i mispelled syntax for bubble and you killed ma again.
Third time i set little demesne you guys move in i bubbled and wanted to attack krellan but he was gone and i was like where did he go? So i expanded my demesne instead and then he died to guards. Didnt know hwat happened.

And i had to confuse him with someone else from Serenguards.

You shouldn't be getting hit by guards, bug it.

I thought you can't move while in bubble and from what I'm seeing, it last longer than expected (unless you were running around while crazy, making it look longer).

Phantoms is meant to give afflictions while in bubble, to the best of my knowledge.

Raizan told me that denizens didn't hit through bubble, but never been in one myself. I know that at the moment they hit through fleshstone as well.

All I can say is that if bubble lasts that long against Ixion (if it lasts more than 10 seconds), nevermind the random movement which can be good or bad, the cost on fleshstone should come down a chunk, since it doesn't seem to me that it lasted anywhere near that long. Maybe more mythbusters fun.

Bubble lasts nearer to 30 seconds than 10. Mobs shouldn't really hit through a bubble, yes. Players cannot hit people inside a bubble. Also, the stun was not delayed until after the bubble. The jellyfish hit you again soon after it popped. Krellan shouldn't have followed. He was also following you off-balance/equilibrium, so definitely wrong. Please bug it and close/delete the thread.

If the bubble-length variance is known to be big, perhaps some testing should be done. It's fairly possible that Magic skill factors in, as well as a number of other things.

Bubble's length was actually randomized a long time ago. If I remember correctly, it was made random between 8-24 seconds. I am not sure on those figures, because the change was made over a real life year ago. Anyhow, the rest of what Soll has stated is correct. What another stated about Phantoms still ticking while in the bubble is correct too.

Yes, yes it is. I believe bubble and stoneflesh are essentially the same, in terms of what can hit and what cannot. Biggest difference is that with stoneflesh, you remain immobile, so no accidentally wandering into guards.

However, it's also much easier to trap someone with stoneflesh this way.

Lesson of the day: People follow through bubble even when it shouldn't be possible. You can even follow people who are bubbled through icewalls, etc. It is a bug - and I've bugged it in the past.

Thus "retardedly easy" is really "is bugged." Glad we cleared that up.
