Well, I'd rather that anything you can find out in a helpfile isn't really necessary to be duplicated on a Wiki. Comments on races and guilds and so on would go in the Revision section, I was thinking.

I haven't quite decided the layout of it yet, admittedly, but I'd prefer that if there are comments and criticisms, they are constructive and work to improving the race, guild, quest whatever. Having pages for pure opinions on other organizations might lead to trouble. tongue.gif

Edit: Good ideas though, and I'm just blown away by how much has already been put up there. It's phenomenal.

How many threads do we get asking which race is best for warriors? Or what weapons are best for bashing? Or what Wiccans are good at?

I don't really think any of that stuff fits into revisions, but its definitely something that could be in an information section.

Hmm. I guess that's a point. I'll leave off guilds and nations for now though, as it still makes me uncomfortable.
Unknown2006-10-03 08:08:29
Avaer, could you add what Fallen had going on? The what weapons are best for bashing? I could do that quite easily tongue.gif

Wiki's are addicting to edit till you get your little section perfect. scribe.gif I wish I had more trans skills so I could have added more.

There is an equipment page now, add a subsection for weaponry, if you like?

Erm, I have only one complaint...
Why did you guys have to use really small print for the skills?

It's the right size for me given the size of his window and the font chosen. The lines that are exactly the correct width for files manually wrapped to the ingame wrap width (78 characters) to fit exactly.

You could always make the text in the browser bigger by using CTRL + Mouse wheel.

Chuckled when I read this in the artifacts/equipment section of the wiki. Really though, why do the 'average' weapons have the lowest of each stat?

Yeah, I felt the same way when I was makin' pages in the skill list for guild skills. Makin' the pages and all was makin' me a bit hyper. Good job so far everyone! It looks like this wiki's coming along nicely.

becaue average stats durrr

Well, the issue of whether to place private cartel designs on the Wiki has come up. What does everyone think about that?

I'm personally of the opinion that we should stick to public, neutral information that is available to all characters, and leave advertisements for individual businesses/shops/whatever for in game.

I'm happy to change my mind if others can convince me of it though.

Edit: Also, remember that the main point of this wiki is development, so feel free to post your own ideas and revisions for anything in Lusternia!

That shouldn't mean the LOWEST of everything.

The actual information list should be at the top, above the additions and stuff. I thought the addition list was the skill list at first and I was wondering where the hell that ClosedCanopy skill came from.
Unknown2006-10-04 00:30:42
*pout*

Fine, fine...

(But wouldn't closedcanopy be fun!)
Diamondais2006-10-04 00:32:44
I thought the same about the new Class, then it said 160 ACE and I was like 'Ohhh... igetit.gif '
Unknown2006-10-04 12:23:22
I've added a Parley Guide page to the Wiki, because I think a nice resource would be a list of how much you should expect to pay to get unenemied to various places. Let's face it, parley bites at the moment, so getting an estimate ahead of time seems very useful indeed!

If you know how much it costs to get unenemied using parley, please post it! biggrin.gif

New additions that you're most welcome to comment on or supplement:

Lusternian Culture page - for general advice on slang and uniquely Lusternian terms and references. Nothing yet, so add any subpages you think are helpful!

New riding suggestions - Some ideas for additions to the Riding skillset to make it viable and useful.

That's all for now, though it seems like almost all the skillsets are up, which is wonderful! Thanks everyone who is contributing! wub.gif
