How many other archetypes can use debate to bring on an instakill in 1 or 2 strikes? Granted all telepaths can do it, and hell we did it to him when he was a telekenitic to get him to drop his shield. But in PvP, I don't think it really has a place. /rant

Ok gonna try to explain better, people used skills that ended up OP, things like empty vial, inquisition (when it stripped lich and vitae), Dom Cannibalize Mana/Toadcurse, Thunderclap, Dom Focus Spirit, Springtraps into nexus.

All of these skills were then fixed so that they couldnt be use to absolutely destroy people during PvP. They balanced them as they should with debating/mindburst. If you start debating I think you should not be able to do mind burst until you leave the room and the debating timer goes away.

I think it's safe to assume it was good against Athine.

I used no debating in that - notice how her mana/hp are pretty damaged too. And two to three strikes? I can't successfully out-debate good warriors that way. Wounds stack up too fast.

People have already posted strategies successfully used in dealing with this. I suggest searching for them instead of declaring it's something overpowered (quite the contrary).
