Subj: Change
There is a reason that I chose that word for the title of this post. It
symbolizes to me the very essence of this city, which is something that
I've always felt pride in. But I've always viewed that aspect of our
heritage as more than just being about the physical changes this city
has gone through. So when I think of the Engine of Transformation, my
mind focuses predominately on our ancestors and how they adapted to the
changes that were wrought upon them.
This post however was not meant as a history lesson, I just wanted to
highlight the city's ability to adapt and grow stronger as a result of
change. Because soon the city will experience another change, one that
some thought would never come to pass in truth. This city will once
again have to decide who will lead the engine into the future, because
my time has come to an end.
It is not a decision that I've reached easily, but it is time for a new
master at the helm. I want to see who else amongst us is capable of
pushing the engine to greater heights. Thus I welcome all citizens who
consider themselves capable of fulfilling the obligations of the office
to contest me.

I've always felt pride in. But I've always viewed that aspect of our
heritage as more than just being about the physical changes this city
has gone through. So when I think of the Engine of Transformation, my
mind focuses predominately on our ancestors and how they adapted to the
changes that were wrought upon them.
This post however was not meant as a history lesson, I just wanted to
highlight the city's ability to adapt and grow stronger as a result of
change. Because soon the city will experience another change, one that
some thought would never come to pass in truth. This city will once
again have to decide who will lead the engine into the future, because
my time has come to an end.
It is not a decision that I've reached easily, but it is time for a new
master at the helm. I want to see who else amongst us is capable of
pushing the engine to greater heights. Thus I welcome all citizens who
consider themselves capable of fulfilling the obligations of the office
to contest me.
