I've been given 10 vials of things I could get (3 of them magic ink, and I'm a jeweler) and just a little bit ago 7 master palettes. I'm all for free things, I really am....but mostly free things that I can use. I feel so...dirty

I got gold and an iron vial.

No complaining, at least you got gifts. I even rigged a nifty dwarf lure in my office with some rope and a bottle of whiskey and haven't gotten anything yet.

One present every couple days would be nice. It won't be possibly several times a day like some people are getting right now, but it averages it out and everyone gets a chance to have something nice and shiny. That, or add a counter to Ironbeard so that there's more of a chance of him visiting different people.

Here's a thought (might take abit/alot of work though...I'm no coder so I can't say )

Ironbeard shows up to some random person, inbetween the time it takes for him to show up and give the gift (or before hand, which ever works) It analyzes the player, their tradeskill, as well as items/guildskills and gives a gift (to anyone there) that they could use. It also runs through and determines (at random) whether they get a common, uncommon, rare, or artifact item.

Now, your probably wondering "What about players with excess artifacts/skills/items?" It either gives a double to them, or they get something to add in what they have. I know there's at least several tradespeople out there that could use extra comms for their work, no?

Out of the two gifts that I got, I only sold the 3 vials of ink. Everything else, given away.

Sorry, thats a terrible idea. I don't think the idea of people getting more stuff because they are already rich. Hell, give more stuff to the poor - they need it more.

I think its fine as it is - as it stands, gifts are something special. If you cant use them, you can give them away and make someone else happy

So, we were piloting home, and the Silver Sickle and Avaerin both have only 2 people inside. They both get hit by gorgogs, and we lose them. When we fly back, there's like 5 aether mobs on them and we manage to defeat them. Then, the Avaerin only has -one- person with lessons in Aethercraft, so we have to micro manage and help them out. XD
