no it's only useless when we catch on to what the he's doing. He's been using it at the northern edge every time and sporing out instantly so far.

Yeah, actually having to suffer death like everyone else ONCE hardly makes the whole thing "useless." Every other time? No. Experience Loss. Whatsoever.

Maybe you can get it upgraded if you have it cost resurgem-like experience (amplified by enemy territory).

What about lich? Lich prevents the necromancer from getting suspect or vengeance on their killer, even if they declared them. It also costs 20 power overall and simple preparation (eye sigils) prevent them from fleeing, meaning they come back undeffed and with massive eq loss, pretty much guaranteed to die twice. So if that was a "lich > darknest", then maybe, but it still isn't infallible.

If it wasn't: please continue.

Eye sigils don't prevent darknest users from fleeing; instead they (as Daedalion has proven, which is why we were all worried about it) just abused it to reform one room outside of enemy territory and then unstoppably spore out, or hell, just move one room out and get suspect/vengeance on anyone who tries to defend.

i believe when you reform with the dark nest you have full equilbrium and balance as moved instantly last night when he reformed and ran home.
