The Necromentate fell? You mean like its gone? If so, when did this happen!!

I've seen the Star of Celest fall
I've seen the Necromentate fall
Now I'll see how they raise it

I'm guessing this happened within the past four hours. And the Necromentate goes crazy or something and unleashes metal monsters or something, that kills our novices or anything really. I don't remember.
Edit: And the only safe place for them to be on prime is the guild hall, I think.

I don't understand the houses. I'm gonna make another thread somewhere and ask for someone to explain those
Why don't you try finding something out in game for once, like the rest of us had to do for the Great Houses O_o.
And I don't see how making a post saying "Nice job Celest" and then posting about how the Necromentate fell isn't gloating.
Unknown2006-10-06 02:21:13
as previously stated the only reason it was posted was because a few people asked to see it on the forums because they didn't get to see it and a lot of people weren't in the game at the time. I'm sure they would like to see it too. It's not like it happens often
Ildaudid2006-10-06 02:29:17
When the star fell, did it kill your novices? Or what did it do to your people? I feel bad for the little guys.. I mean I am waiting to see Please welcome JoeBob blah blah... JoeBob has been killed by a crazy metal monster... that sucks for new players.
If Celest doesn't have their novices being destroyed when the star falls I think something needs to change there. Like how do we get a larger playerbase, if I started this game and the first thing that happened to me was I was killed, I am not too sure I would have a great first impression.
So what happens to you when the Star Falls? What goes nuts and kills your novvies???

You can't do supplicant quests, that's all.
And really Nil should be changed a bit, it's very hard to Defend from the Nexus, unlike Celestia where we can just get beckoned in cause the way to the other pillars is just beside the nexus.

Yeah, absolutely nothing happens to them.
Just like every novice and their mom can go run around picking up squids, or can dig for sand once the Star is raised.

That is sad, I mean we spank yer ass and make your star fall and you can raise it with no crazy mobs to worry about?? You spank our ass and make us raise the necromante back, and all our nov's are killed and cant even leave their guild hall?? I notice this all the time and it needs to be said. This game, tho I love it so, is very one sided. But seriously, this game is very in favour of celest skillsets, celest quests, and celest in general. People may be scared to say it but anyone who reads envoys, and alot of the quest issues that have been done would agree. I can still remember a celest being locked down in a room by Athana and Ixion, and a divine whooshin them away to safety.... C'mon, how often does that happen to any other commune/citymember??
That needs to be fixed if they want a larger playerbase, I mean like I said, who would want to play a game where when they come in they cant go anywhere and enjoy being a novvie because the city they chose to be in just got spanked?
Edit: Complain about the manner in which the quests work if you want. Keep slanderous comments about the Administration out of it though. - Charune

Not really a rant, but more of curiosity. Why is it that some people who get the killing blow on like a Supernal or some such put it into their forum sigs? I mean, yeah, wow you get the last blow on this big ol' person, go you! I dunno, but its just seems to me like rubbing salt on an open wound.
Nementh2006-10-06 02:59:20
Same thing happened to Ashtan, Bloodloch (not that RP exists in Aetolia anyways) and Stavenn... the bad guys tend to attract those who can fight, so the goodies who don't tend to attract those people get buffed to all hell. The badies who joined to fight, realize their skills suck, move to the goodies, and the badies become oppressed, and when ever they complain about getting the short end of the stick, they are reminded of all the 'skills' they could have using old situations that can not happen anymore because a goodie has a skill to get out of it at a snap of the finger.
Unknown2006-10-06 03:02:40
Stavenn's the only city with any real smart/intelligent people. Kinsy attracts the snugglie people alongs side Khandava, Celidon the lazy, Antioch the fanatic zerglings and Ithaqua's pretty cool too, like Stavenn. It's always seemed to me that the places with sticks up their asses tend to get the better people since they often flush out the idiots. Of course a few manage to get through the cracks.
And thus, why we have the problem of Baddies have intelligent people don't need help whereas the silly/not so smart need help. NOT SAYING ANYTHING. Usually what happens. So I think we need to get into cracking those whips...hmm?

It's sort of a combination of a lot of the more active or fighting Magnagorans disappearing, switching orgs, etc with no one replacing them and then the skills/what I would argue favoritism for say, Celest. Maybe now some of these more subtle advantages which didn't make a huge difference before will come to light.
But with that said, I don't think anything will change, so we'll just have to fight through it and move on.

For now let Celest gloat over their victory, with their constant raiding right now since we are at the weakess and with 3/4 of the city's defenders either non combatants or novices, how can we fight 3/4 of Celest's best fighters?
EDIT:
Well, back to waiting till things cool down and recover.
Forren2006-10-06 03:29:59
Awesome picture, Veo.
Yeah.. raising the Star is the most obnoxiously dull and repetitive thing ever. Novice-eating sucks though.

Raising the Necromentate isn't any less dull or repetitive, really.
The only thing I'm sad about is our lack of players.

Let's see...of those I remember...
Kayde and Marcalo gradually left, so did Stangmar, and I think Ixchigial(sp?) Murphy's in semi-retirement I think. Aiakon vanished. Veonira has school. Balizar's in a retirement mode. Kahazul jumped ship then joined Guido Flagg in suicide.
Daevos and Zalana--not sure--Zalana was working hard on Ilyrias before it got shut down, although I've seen her on rare occasions--course it could just be life duties. Daevos seems to still be active--he's so damned quiet though--though he rarely posts here anymore and I suspect got a bit bored.
Athana and Ixion moved to Serenwilde.
I don't think Kaervas is really around much either.
So, like I said in another thread, just a few people can have a big effect on an organization.
