I may be mistaken but I do not remember seeing one of those and I read everything, and I have yet to see it now and I just remade my character 30minutes ago.

Just do it anyway tongue.gif

REGISTER will take you into the registration bit which will keep your character around for muuuuch longer periods of time.

For some stupid reason, I don't think you are actually told in the Tour to register, but every 1-2 hours that you are online, a little message tells you about it. I know of severeal people who missed that little message, or logged out before getting it and had their characters deleted before they logged in the next day.

I don't know, I tried the tour again with about 5-6 SPEEDUPS and it was nice and non-tedious, though INSANELY brief and lacking of content compared to, say, Achaea's. Butterflies might be nice for Lusternia as well. Oh, and another thing, HATE HATE HATE how Lusty bans you from entering 99.9% of commands during the journey...not sure about other IRE MUDs...yeah.
Registering...I don't know. I thought it was pretty clear, I mean, it keeps on bugging me about how I didn't register (if I didn't) and how then it won't survive the day...but I guess talking about that in the intro would help, and also extending the time it takes for unregistered characters to get deleted.
Also, I think that Lusty needs to find a middle ground between its current guild newbie intros (sometimes 45-60 friggin' minutes long trying to A. cram in all missed information and B. infuse them with RP (especially Glomdoring-bit scary for newbies)) and the fabulous introduction I got for the monk class in Achaea: "Welcome! Learn from Tryphaniel (or whatever). 25 Kaido, rest Tekura. Here's some myrrh. Bye." Also, maybe more supplementary pictures, like one for each guild at least, helps get imagionationally challenged people to a start..

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. There are no bashing areas in Lusternia. None that are neutral anyways. Unless you wanna go into a free pk area. Of course, no one will stay.

I think you'd need to get more gold on the tour. Specially as warrior. Or at least get some basic weapon. I knew how to rat (coming from Achaea) otherwise I'd be lost with my bare hands to get some gold for my first weapons.
About the system ... I'm planning to release 'keep me alive' automatic system, but I still feel I lack lots of afflictions/mechanisms. It works fine for me but it is not documented and I'm not sure could anyone else actually use it. But, being optimistic ... anyone who could host it or test it a bit?

Out of curiosity, does anybody do things like I did with the treasure hunt for newbies or something similar? I notice newbies might want to get involved a bit more if more people did some fun things like that...maybe make it org related.

Do the guides here do quizses or stuff like that?

I wonder if there's too much pressure for newbies to be isolated to their orgs or something like that. Maybe they should be encouraged to look around and interact, even with their eneimes. Consider it a "Rumshpringa" before they have to commit.
