Everyone seems to be tripping over each other to get into these new guilds. I personally just changed to Celestine in what feels like a very recent switch, and I'm happy there so I'll definitely be sticking with them. I'm just curious if after the bards are in all the cities and communes, if there will be any non-bards left
Can't think of any reason that someone would vote 'other', but it seems like someone posts in every poll that their choice wasn't up there, so I included it.

I voted Other. Why? I want to join them, but I have waaaayyy too much going for me in the Hartstone right now. Its a guild I love and adore, with people I love being able to speak with on a daily basis. I could care less about lesson loss, look at Dia, switched her skills around way too much for it to really matter. However, I really am sad to know that several Hartstone are going to go to this, the least of all being Ialie who has been a wonderful guildmate this entire time.

Voted Other because Ksil's going through a period right now that switching guilds won't help. So probably make another character or wait to see what ksil does with her doubts and such.

I thought I would join the Bards for sure at first, but I don't know anymore =/ I had been thinking of the Celestines for a while. Heck, I might even stay Aqua. I really can't sacrifice school time for more Lusty time, so... hmm. I don't know anymore! It also depends on who's going to run the guild... (it'll have to be a good and strong team, because I just want to play and have no guild work to do ) The initial hype for me was just my surprise and boredom I guess. Ai!
Noola2006-10-08 04:13:35
I voted other.
Cause:
I'm really attached to the Aquamancers. Noola just got GR5, she's an undersec, she wants to be a secretary. I like everyone in the guild. I enjoy the skills (even if I'm no good at using them), I like the scholarly-ness of it. I just like being an Aquamancer. Most of Noola's family is in the guild even.
BUT
As I mentioned in the other thread, performing is something Noola wants to do. She loves illusions, and Estarra's mentioning of how Illusions might be specialized means that Noola's preferred form of Illusions will be the Bardic Illusions. Plus, I imagine that Lyreth is going to Patron the Bard guild and that'd be a BIG pull for Noola too.
I just don't know. And will have to seriously think about it.

Why not join and help the guild get started? Don't like leading?
Unknown2006-10-08 04:15:43
I'm joining. I started the Bards of the Wilde clan aages ago (which was promptly destroyed by the people who I left it with.. ers.) Its what I've been waiting for, and its what'll keep me in Lusternia now matter how much I dislike other aspects

Yes and no =p Time is a big factor. Also, I think the new guild should be run by new people, giving a different generation of players a chance at doing things on their own.

Laneth is currently running for guildmaster and also working on a major writing project, so he'll stay in the Moondancers. I might make an alt for some fun though.
Sylphas2006-10-08 05:37:08
If I become a Bard, I can continue to say that I've transed every non-warrior skill in the 'wilde except Astrology. As soon as I get some credits.
Unknown2006-10-08 10:24:19
I will always be a Moondancer.
Narses2006-10-08 10:30:08
I really hope that for the game's sake the different guilds will have a more solid RP then "we like music and flutes".

Well, the specializations are all deeply rooted in the community they're from. Its really up to the leaders to make that RP happen.. but they've definitely been given the tools.
Kaervas2006-10-08 10:39:28
I was planning to go bard but now apparently I'm needed more in the BT so I'm not going to anymore.
Shiri2006-10-08 10:42:35
Tuek has it.
Unknown2006-10-08 10:54:01
Bards seem really interesting, and the Shadowdancers have been in a bit of a rut for a while, but I'm staying. Partially because switching would cause me to lose alchemy, the only way I can obtain large amounts of credits.
Shamarah2006-10-08 11:09:00
I'm going to wait around and see how the class works in practice - I'm getting a little tired of Celestines and their ridiculous power intensiveness so if bards are better I might join them.
Saran2006-10-08 12:57:34
I would like to change but I don't really want to leave hartstone right now.
Might go in with an alt first to test the waters, but I would also love Saran to be a bard *sigh*
Though I'm not good with poetry I just love the idea

I like bards. I was one of the first bards on Aechaea, and find the thought of the new class here intriguing.
Can't see getting involved in politics again for it, though.

I voted to wait and see. Might make an alt along with the others that are. I think it will be interesting and maybe I will like it as much as I did the Moondancers.

Good luck with that.
