My Internet was out for a day, and I return to find out a new archetype was created. I've played a bard in Achaea and Imperian, but I think I will hold off on playing one here until I finish up learning all the ends and outs of warrior combat.

I would like playing a more mobile support archetype though.... Oh well, I have a month before I can even consider making the change. Knowing me, I will probably breakdown and try the archetype as soon as Celest receives it.

This is a feeble attempt to articulate the frustration of having fifty different alts pounce on me at once, ask "Can I be a bard? Huh? Huh? *bounce* HUH?" and not take "Not now" for an answer.

There's one of me. There are guild ranks to title, guild scrolls to scribe, guild skills to figure out. And there's 50 of you. I'm trying to be nice. If you've asked me five or more consecutive questions in a row, it's time to BE QUIET and TRY AGAIN LATER. And by the by, if you've actually gotten me to the point of exasperation when I've replied "Every time you ask delays your answer further"... you really need to stop asking.

Pretty please? You can be a bard real soon, I promise. I've done everything I could so far to get the guild open in the shortest reasonable time possible. Just take it easy.

You shouldn't rush for people. I mean, you have a whole month or so until it will be a public thing. Just take it slow because if you rush it something will go wrong. And yes use tellsoff.

I've been pondering on quiting the moonies and just staying with all of the skills in Serenwilde without being part of the guild!

What will be really fun is when they get skill choices. Every other archetype so far has several choices; I'm sure Bards will too, eventually. smile.gif

As far as I can tell, all songs must have lyrics. You can't sing and play a wind instrument.

Maybe just avoid policy rules breaking things...but you can't try to foce someone with poor poetry abilities to write good poetry. And the opinion on good poetry is VERY subjective.
