Oh my god, no. Why did the 70's have to be so gay?
Unknown2006-10-14 02:41:28
I always saw Estarra as being like Benita Bizarre myself.

I have a feeling once Arix becomes a bard he'll become something like this guy.

Time for Verithrax to make some costumes for Arix...

That's it, I'm turning you into a Muppet. *readies the felt, googly muppet eyes, skinning knife and ice pick*

And I just found the Celest Bard Archetypes Estarra should use.

Okay, now we're just getting silly!

(Don't laugh youngsters...you had Mighty Morphing Power Rangers back in 1993.)
Unknown2006-10-14 15:52:28
Ye Gods. I can't stop laughing.
Fain2006-10-14 15:56:42
Psst...

Your ages are showing.

Things like this make me glad I grew up in the transtional period of educational TV... I grew up in the 80's where no one believed it would work... and they were obviously right, I mean afterall my generation is the dumbest generation to walk the earth right now...

I seriously heard a 22 year old college student say this yesterday to his girlfriend, and both thought it terribly romantic: "My apathy for you knows no bounds."

Of course, I found it entertaining as I walked up to them and said, "I am quite imprssed, you two make quite the insipid pair." They thought it was a complement, and I left it at that...

Well obviously educational TV works... damn 80's...

QUOTE
The tainted, rippling energies of the Megalith of Doom crackle up into the sky like a bolt of pure black lightning, impacting the spinning orb with a screaming, screeching melody that banishes all silence with its unearthly, crooning song that howls across the winds, crawling and sinister. The orb twists and distorts, growing and shrinking as it descends slowly into Magnagora, hovering eerily above the Necropolis, the only constant remaining the ever increasing screams and howls of its voice carrying across the Basin like a distorted, agonized song.

The voice of Jagrerox howls in sinister, twisted delight, "I am reborn by the power of the Taint, blessed by the touch of transformation! The cacophonous song of change will thunder across Lusternia as I am made anew, and all will hear the wailing of my voice and know despair!"

joy!

So... are all organizations getting a new god? huh.gif
Unknown2006-10-14 23:52:08
These aren't "full gods", just remnants of them as "songs"...
Arix2006-10-14 23:56:01
The sad thing is, with the overwhelming number of people who have chosen to send me tells with bard/geomancer/rock music references, I am sorely tempted to take up Tully's suggestion.

The real reason those gods died is 'cause they met Easy Reader and Glitter Rock in the Void.

Actually, they encountered THIS being...

Man, I gotta block YouTube or I'll never get any work done...

Please give a round of applause to... CACOPHONY!

Aia & Verithrax: "HELLO CLEVELAND! ARE YOU READY TO ROCK AND ROLL?"
Unknown2006-10-15 00:34:47

Verithrax2006-10-15 00:54:15
Not a pick at the chargen yet.
Cairam2006-10-15 00:56:52
I don't think they'll be accepting novices until the whole guild is put together, yet. So far there's only Aia and Morgfyre.

We need a shootyourselfinthehead emote. The explosion isn't good enough for a thing like that.
