If the eq is increased, ignite needs to be removed as a cure.
I'd love to see someone post a log of someone killing a descent fighter with thornlash, a fighter who has delt with it before and knows how to cure it - the only times I have are when my target's curing broke, or if they didn't reflexively cure the lashes.
I'll agree that the arm balance thing is dumb - it should do something much more tame that effects everyone, not that effects 1/9th of the game overly much. Perhaps give them a level 1 balance penalty if any arms are lashed? Or a chance to act as if they have a level 2 balance penalty similar to lashed legs and leg balance, with the chance increasing if both arms are lashed just like with leg lashes?

It's not the instant kill that makes it overpowered, it's the bleeding.

I really don't understand why people don't use ignite enchantments to get around the bleeding from writhe. You don't need to rub them every lash, only once every three or so... It's no more or less often than we have to reject due to love potions, losing the same length of balance

it's either increase eq, or remove balance slowing..
with long eq AND no slowing people will just keep their offence up till they get 3 lashes then burn (there's essentially no way to stop people from using ignite)
With neither we can significantly hinder people's offense (even though vine whoring isn't a viable kill if you are igniting and writhing correctly (I get through it fine *insert system plug*)) but really, just thornlashing isn't effective.
With one or the other it's no longer a good skill IMO, actually I suggest it stay the same.. perhaps find a way to weaken two thornlashers.. Or maybe increase the EQ a lil.. But it needs to hinder the other person's offense a bit, or else just thornlashing will get the druid killed, and there's no synergy for thornlash + any other skills.
And to Shorlen.. Treebane isn't instant so if you cast it then wait for treelife to tic, you can sap them and have treebane break their legs before they can focus mind/cleanse, giving you an extra round to lock them.
