Dont worry! You can fully do it, even if youre crap at making gold IG.
Hopefully your guild and city sells credits more often. That makes it easier. 
Last city credit sale, I splurged, 65000 for 25 creds, then guild credit sale (max 40000 for 20 creds), but was too soon after and ran out of money and lasted about three days

If you do, they return to you when they reset. That's pretty much the main use I've had for my pipes, to hold esteem when I've gotten on a roll with influencing.

So I think we've come to the conclusion that yes, without buying any form of credit (IC or OOC), you cannot Trans in a skill, even if you pour every single lesson into that one skill.

You can also blame the credit market and people who have made it stay at its insane rate... That makes it harder for people to buy IG credits... and when there is a city sale, all people do is buy them cheap and sell them high... they should make city sale credits become bound or something hehe that would teach them bastards
